I had a finger nail in my hamburger so I left after the first day. I tried to pack my dog in my trunk but they sent him home. My little sister pooped her pants and they told her to eat it cause they thought it was chocolate. So yeah, no.

This is by far one of the best experiences you can give a child. You can actually see the growth in a child's confidence, maturity and learning at the end of each summer. We have sent our two grandchildren for several years and it's worth every cent!! The staff led by Elizabeth is professional, trustworthy and experienced. Truly a wonderful place!! The Jackson's. Ardmore, Pa.

I hate this camp so much but my parents force me to go. All my friends secretly hate it but the counselors force us to say we like it. It is only for stuck up brats and everyone is mean and the place is disgusting. The counselors are super mean. When we visited Echo Hill Camp for the regatta I found it to be much more fun and the people were nicer. I wish I could go to Echo Hill Camp! Go check that camp out so you don't get stuck at this dump.

My son 13 years old, attended Camp Tockwogh water skiing for the first time this year, he was apprehensive to do so but had the time of his life. We have already committed to going back next summer. Exceptional staff!

Daughter has attended summer camp here for five years in a row and absolutely loves it. Not sure if this place is open to the public during the year but during the summer while camp is active, it has very restricted access for the childrens security.

The YMCA associated with Camp T. has staff so dedicated to the temporary residents of the similar village that the hardest part of camp is leaving. They are caring, compassionate, hard-working, 'johnnie-on-the-spot,' and simply just a wonderful crew. They provide our acute needs and the food is really good. We are always safe with Hershey kisses, nuts, cheese, and salad bar.

I went there as a 12 year old and kept going till 15. Some great memories, I also went for a camp out with my boy scout troop several times. I am now 55 years old and it warms my heart to see it still in operation. I hope you are still operating when my grandson is old enough to go. LOVE this place and the experience !

I will never be able to thank Camp Tockwogh enough for the best summers of my life!

I was a camper for 5 consecutive summers, and then apart of their Leader in Training and Counselor in Training programs for the next two summers.

I made friends from around the world, learned how to sail and waterskii, and shaped who I am as an independent and spirited individual.

Send your kids there, and I promise you won t regret it!

A wonderful place for young people to learn and grown in an old-fashioned outdoor camp setting that's good value for money. Exceptional staff and lovely waterfront right on the Bay, along with a giant old-school canvas waterslide. We have such faith in the place that we've sent our children to the 3-day mini camp starting from the summer after kindergarten. They couldn't have had a nicer time each year they attended. The long-running camp is quite rustic, perfect if you're looking for a no frills, easygoing camp experience for 21st century kids. Children can be themselves in a safe setting at this large and scenic old camp.

You are currently looking at the reviews of the best place on earth!!!!! I live in Portland, Oregon and every summer I fly to Maryland to join the camp experience. My favorite thing there is water skiing and sailing.
There are mostly international counselors. For example, my first year I had a counselor from Scotland and a counselor from Hungary. I am only eleven years old and this is already my favorite place on earth! My mom, who is now forty two, went to this camp. You can go to this camp as long as you are between eight and fifteen! Instead of your last year there you can be an LIT (leader in training). The year after that you can be a CIT. And after that you can be a counselor for a few years! This really is the best place on earth!!!!

Yuck! Words cannot describe my child's experience. He came home covered in big bites. Uggggggh, gotta buy more cortisone! He didn't even learn how to sail, but he learned about sex and curse words. Super disappointed, should've put these two weeks in the college fund.

My daughter has been attending camp tockwogh for a long time now, and she absolutely loves it. There is sailing, water skiing, guitar, crafts, sports, and more. I highly recommend this camp to any parent who's child is looking for a great sleep away experience. And for any child who gets homesick, the counselors deal with it very well and your child will be having a blast in no time.

I love it here so much and I stuck with my friends I met here we talk everyday and I get way too excited to come back every year!!! Without this camp I would be sitting in front of the TV screen everyday... Camp Tockwogh helped me become the person I am today!

I attended this camp the summer after 4th grade. It was the worst experience. During the first couple days I came down with strep throat and felt very homesick, yet they would not allow me to call home. They told me that they had talked to my parents and that my parents had said that I needed to stay there. The remainder of my camp experience was filled with tears. I literally cried myself to sleep every night and they did absoulity nothing about it. After I came home my parents assured me the conslers never told them that I had strep throat and wanted to go home. As an 11 year old I was scared by this experience. I no joke cried for months after it and was unable to have sleepovers at friend's houses anymore. I do not recommend this camp to anyone with concerns of homesickness, because they do an awful job of dealing with it.

I remember so many great things about this place I'm now 17 years old and still think about roasting up some marshmallows and singing campfire songs with my dad at camp tockwogh it was such a blast and I was only 5-7 years old when I went there. So much fun I'd recommend this camp for anyone and for all ages no limits.
