Activities are interesting and staffs are very nice. Food is great too.

Do forget to bring bug spray and sufficient change clothes when it is expected to rain as lots of activities will be done outdoor rain or shine.

I think this would be the la-la land for every kid. The professionalism of the camp staff and the way the traditional outdoor activities are preserved and improved over time are nothing short of amazing.

I am happy to say I spent 9 years (both as camper and staff) at Camp Pinecrest -- amazing experiences and acquisition of values. I attribute the joys of my life to those friends I met and the wonderful summers . It also shaped the futures of my two daughters who spent many summers at Pinecrest and moved on to very successful lives.

Can't express enough thank you's to staff, campers and former Director Ivan Robinson. All the best to CPC in the future.

If your child is a vegetarian stay away from this ...

If your child is a vegetarian stay away from this place. It is not veggie friendly and my child had to drop out of a 2 week camp on the fourth day as she was starving. Although the management reassures parents that options will be provided, the reality is otherwise as items like salad, fruit , cold pasta are served daily ...not too many meals served hot. My child managed for 4 days, mostly eating fruit. Councillors don't seem to bother to foster interactions between cabin mates , as there was a group of 4 girls known to each other , who pretty much ignored the rest in the cabin, leading to a feeling of isolation amongst the rest . All in all my daughter described this to be the worst experience of her life and this is coming from a girl who does not give up easily.
I will however give full marks to the camp setting which is very picturesque ; Facilities are okay and 70 % of the crowd which comes are returning campers.
