Great food. Come here for lunch a couple of times a month. Gyro s and souvlaki plates are delicious. Staff are always kind and helpful. No side with the gyros though, hence the 4 stars. The prices are moderate and reasonable for the area. Ingredients are always fresh!

Wonderful food, great atmosphere, relaxing place to take a load off and enjoy some authentic Greek cuisine. The falafels are amazing, I had the pork souvlaki and my husband had the lamb, all of it was great! Plates run $9-14 a plate just depending on what your looking for, not too bad for NYC and soo worth it!

Had the chicken souvlaki sandwich and baklava takeout . Sandwich as ok as a quick lunch, the chicken was flavorful but the lettuce tomato and sauce were super bland. Baklava was horrible, huge portion, but it was a soggy mess!

I order here at least once a week. The staff are friendly and the food is consistently good. There usually is a lunch rush but with how good the food is I'm surprised there isn't an all day rush. Until I'm able to afford and operate one of those meat spinning machines, I will definitely returning.

Had their chicken gyro plate and got horrible food poisoning. I was throwing up and sick all night. It was the only thing I ate the day I got food poisoning so was definitely from their chicken gyro plate. :(

The food alone is great- fresh tasting and good portion sizes. Also love the tzatziki sauce! But the customer service is what sets it apart. Ms Nelly is personable and caring and makes you feel like you are coming home to a family dinner - but without the drama. I ll be back!

Shockingly bad service. I asked the woman at the register how many falafel balls I get for the "starter" for $5.95. She replied "six". I paid and said it was to go. Ten minutes later she handed me a bag and I walked out. I opened up the bag and inside were cut up pieces of pita bread. Not one falafel ball in sight. I turned around, went back inside, and presented the woman with the container with pita bread. She did not say a word to me, turned around, and after some shuffling of bags on a counter, handed me one (you would think this was a busy mix up of sorts, this was on Sunday, with two people sitting down in the whole store). She handed me another bag. I decided to open it in front of her, and I looked at five falafel balls. I said to her "you said there were six?". Her response "I said five or six" (which she did not). I looked at her and said "first you don't even say you're sorry for handing me the wrong bag, and now you say something which you know you never said"? She looked away and ignored me. I said it again, this time much louder. She looked my way, stared and said "I apologize", thinking if she ignored me again, I might go nuts (it was a bluff, and it worked). Well, any place that hires THIS LOW QUALITY OF A WORKER does not deserve to be in business. Really disgusting, even for NYC.

Soup (chicken and lemon with orzo - Ovgolemono) is delicious though would have been even better hot rather then only warm. Fantastic FRESH pita that went beautifully with the well balenced/seasoned trio of spreads (Spreads: Taramosalata, tzatziki and tirokafteri). I'd go back for lunch again anytime.

Due to the pandemic I had to eat outside of the restaurant and I sure am glad I did. The food was delicious! I had the chicken platter with brown rice. Totally worth the 15 dollars. It felt great to eat healthy and have the options of adding/taking away the sauce. Will come again very soon! God bless!

Good

Owner should open book how to cook or visite Greek before calling greek restaurant.
They said is lamb should be real lamb not ground lamb.
Greek salad should have olive.
Pita should be hot.
A lot of should.
But no greek food.
Someone try to cut corners
They should call restart G food
Untill they understand how cook Greek food
My suggestion
Wait!
until they actually read book How to cook Greek food and start use it properly.

I'm greek. I know greek food. Went simple with the lamb Gyro and lemon potatoes. Gyro was perfect. Good tzatziki sauce. Lemon potatoes was awesome. Fresh and hot. Tasted amazing. Service was great. Fast and efficient. Kind people and everyone looked to be working hard to get through the long line that formed.

This is a great place for fast Greek food. The souvlaki and potatoes are really good and I do not think you can beat the price, especially in NYC. You can get a huge meal for around 14 dollars.

The owner and his team are lovely people and the food is wonderful. The avgolemeno soup is liquid happiness, definitely a recipe concocted by a yia yia (grandmother in Greek). The decor is modern, but gives a distinct air of a taverna on a Greek island.
