Yamaha Music Center Review

I gave my guitar amp for repair. It's been almost 6 months now and still they haven't finished it. Customer service is very poor. I have called so many times to check the progress and they always say they'll call and confirm but they never do. Recently, they said I can pick it up in two days but when I went there after a week, it's still not finished and they said the same thing "you can pick it up in two days". Very unprofessional. Also now only I got the estimate for the repair, after they "claimed" they've finished the repair. I was never given an estimate beforehand and I thought that's how an estimate works. I have bought and recommended many instruments from yamaha but I'll think twice before I'll make another purchase. Very disappointed about the service coming from a reputed brand!

Bought the rode go mic system on a good deal. went home and the system didn't recognize the mic input. took the product back and had a very nice service. staff checked the item n suggested an adapter. all in very professional manner. Thank you.

Guitars and Drum sets are available in any brand you can possibly think of. Furthermore the instruments are freely available for anyone to come and have a go at. Blessed with some exquisite and truly elegant pianos that will make you fall in love with them. The sound quality is outstanding too. Customer care is satisfactory and the staff are really friendly. Transportation to venues other than Colombo involves unreasonable costs, though.

If you want to buy original yamaha music equipment, this would be the place in Sri Lanka. They have almost all beginner-intermediate guitars (especially acoustic guitars) as well as some professional ones. Many other equipment are available as well such as keyboards, drum sets etc. I really love the seasonal offers they provides, mainly during Christmas month which are just fantastic deals.

I had a bad experience, I called and enquired about a product(mic stand) and the customer care operator mentioned that they have the product in stock and when I visited the shop they said product is out of stock. Also they made me to wait for long time , being one of the best shop in srilanka you should have a better way to check the stock and answer queries

If you are looking for an musical instrument or a sound system this is a great place to go and get hands on experience with whatever equipment you are planning to purchase. The staff is very friendly and helpful as they will help you a lot to make sure you purchase the right product. They have a great variety of items such as, Guitars, Pianos, Drum Sets, Cajons, Surround Sound Systems, etc. They also have a great variety of brands including Yamaha, Marshall, Fender, Sonos, LP, etc. They have some parking spaces as well. This is a great place. The after sales services are also very good. Also they have very good seasonal deals! Highly Recommended!!

Best stop for new branded quality musical instruments

Visited in 2013. Customer reps were generally nice and let me try things out - limited selection of non-Yamaha products (some guitar pedals, electronic kits, Sabian cymbals (AAX, XS20 only) and Vic Firth implements) but was a decent place to hang out and jam for the little time I spent there.
