I was discharged from Twin County Hospitals ER and told I was fine. I knew my severe abdominal pain was a real issue so I went to Wytheville, within an hour they had diagnosed the issue and me admitted to the ICU. The staff in the ER and all of the 4th floor were incredible. Especially Dr. Recce, floor manger Mr.Lane and RN nurse Rochelle were absolutely amazing. Think you all so much.
Absolutely amazing staff! Very respectful and kind and nurses and doctors show so much compassion! My pain was unbearable and they make it a priority to get it under control! They also took the time to listen to me and make me feel heard and understood and took the time to explain everything in a way I could clearly understand! Very pleased with the care I received!
Great staff and nurses. Never a long wait. One surgeon, however, may be in over his head. My knee surgery was a disaster. My walking days are over.
If I need more surgery I will go to Winston Salem or Roanoke.
I had my second baby there. I loved Dr. Fox who delivered my healthy baby girl. When we first pulled up, we walked in and told them I was having contractions. The nurse worked with me as fast as she could and took me into a room. All the nurses was really helpful and nice. They made sure I was comfortable and also made sure my boyfriend was comfortable too. Thank you to Dr. Fox for my safe and quick delivery. Thank you to all the nurses that worked that night to take good care of my baby and me.
This hospital does not even rate one star. This is the worst hospital I have ever been to. The staff is rude and the PA I saw acted like she didn t have time to see me. I waited several hours in a room and was never treated so I finally signed out and left. This is truly the worst hospital I have ever been to. I won t be going back.
I had a great experience there. I was experiencing sever pain in my stomach and was taken there. They have me a CT scan and said I had appendicitis, and they would operate on me the next day. I spent the night and had a successful surgery that morning. I feel bad for those who didn t have a good experience, as mine was very good and had a wonderful staff.

There is a good reason everyone goes to Radford. My daughter had an emergency appendectomy and was released yesterday with antibiotics and pain med prescriptions called into Walgreens. Walgreens was unable to fill the pain meds. She went without pain meds all night. This morning, the doc arranged for the pharmacy to dispense the pain meds if we got here before noon. The fourth floor nurses were notified I was here in plenty of time to pick them up.... It is now 12:30 and I am still waiting for them to pull their heads out of where ever they are and get her something! This is AFTER THEY GAVE HER ANTIBIOTICS

My mother was recently a patient in the emergency room at Wythe County Community Hospital. I could not be there with her, but the staff kept me informed by calling my mobile phone and explaining her condition and the care she was receiving. This meant so much to me and to her. She received excellent care and the staff was truly kind, caring and compassionate. I cannot imagine our community without this hospital and the dedication of the staff who work there.
