Fantastic staff, amazing food and beautiful surroundings.
Fantastic staff, amazing food and beautiful surroundings.
Had excellent afternoon tea... 3 afternoon teas and 3 gentleman's afternoon teas. Beautifully presented and delicious. Gorgeous surroundings and discrete but attentive staff.
We'll organised covid measures which don't detract from the experience.
Beautiful, peaceful grounds, so worth a sit out on the terrace if the weather's good.
We'll worth the money, can highly recommend.
Christmas fair - fantastic fair with a really good array of items. House itself is a fantastic, grounds really nice and the farmers cafe is good too
beautiful building with outstanding rooms and breathtaking grounds surrounding the hall this is where I would like to have my wedding with my gorgeous wife to be claire
My daughter and i visited Wynyard Hall Spa yesterday for a Spa package as a treat. Unfortunately my daughter took ill before we had completed our day. The lovely girls on reception couldn't have been more helpful. In particular the girl with blonde hair who i am sorry to say name i didnt get in my panick. Thankyou so much for your help and looking after us. We look forward to returning to complete our day. Thankyou again.
Went for afternoon tea. Staff very friendly and helpful. Enjoyed the food and surroundings are lovely.
Christmas market that we go to ever year was poor this year. A lot less stalls than Last year. Teepee was full of smoke and I couldn't stay and get anything to eat as it was setting my Asthma off. Wont be going next year
Had afternoon tea on Valentine's Day. Staff were very polite and nice food was amazing will definitely recommend and will be going again
Visited the Rose Garden, well worth visiting, nice cafe, bit pricey.
Beautiful evening at the Spa, cannot fault it, friendly & helpful staff, lovely facilities and the views are wonderful across the lake whilst relaxing in the outside jacuzzi's.
Fantastic location, really puts things in perspective and makes you want to work harder to be able to afford a place like this to live..
I went for the afternoon tea. When eating I found a long piece of plastic in my food. No staff around so had to go to kitchens my self where a waitress messing on her phone came and took it and walked away took about 5 minutes for someone to come to the table. They would not give me a refund with money only a voucher which I did not want as I cannot eat in a place with contaminated food and where staff are not very helpful.
The gardens were well maintained, a very pleasant place to enjoy, also the ticket is for 12 months. A revisit is definitely in my plan.
Massive xmas market
Good choice of stalls.
Great venue for the Tees Valley business club, staff and management were all first class. Definitely well worth a visit.
Amazing firework display. Very well organised and they delayed it until everyone had parked up
Great environment. Even just the drive into the hall is breathtaking!
Superb lunch in lovely surroundings. Well looked after by a lovely young man called Thomas. Thank you.
Fabulous venue. Meal was lovely and staff were so organised.
Fantastic hall, with great decor and the Marquee is brilliant
Such a lovely venue, was attending an event here but it never disappoints.
Teesside Exclusive Lunch Club - a striking venue, lovely food, and swift, unobtrusive service
Beautiful place I went with my girlfriend at the time back in 2018 id definitely recommend it
The wedding we attended was great. The setting is fantastic and the bar prices match the grandeur of the location.
Went for afternoon tea, despite having a booking for 3pm it took until 4pm for any of our food or drink to arrive and when it did the bread was slightly stale.
Venue is stunning. You have to see it to beleive it. Afternoon tea is a must for all people considering getting married here..
We stayed in the Head Gardeners Cottage, the backdoor opens into the walled garden, and the cottage itself is great. The staff all seem to be locals and have a passion for the place and their jobs. Highly recommended.
Walled garden cafe, slow service and staff miserable. Hope it had improved from last time but no just the sane. Very disappointing wheni had come a long way
Winter Chirstmas Party 9.12.17. What a shambles. Paid for a drinks package and only half came to the table. Had to ask at least 3 people for the rest of it. Seated at 8 for food didn't get main course till 10.30 ish and desert at 11.30. This was mingled with numerous fights. Party finished at 12.00 and not 1.00 am as publicised. Band only on for a short period. Absolutely shocking. Really disappointed. My only Christmas night out due to finances and it was totally spoilt. Not what I was expecting.
Got married here. Attention to detail is on another level. Staff were amazing and the food was perfect
Beautiful spot grounds and setting. Highly recommend it. Also really quiet
Lovely building, welcome was warm, meal okay but service slow. Staff were polite. Not the greatest experience but acceptable as an occasional evening out.
Excellent with place and
an excellent lunch thoroughly enjoyed the occasion
Beautiful gardens and grounds. We were lucky enough to see three deer running through the daffodils.
Gift shops have something to temp everyone.
Classy lunch at Wynyard Hall, A great Travel zoo lunch at Wynyard. Food was excellent and the staff could not be more helpful. Will be back.
Great place good service good staff great buildings
What a fantastic place was passing and stopped for lunch and was throughly pleased with the quality of the food will be returning very soon
Really lovely place with view they have a coffee shop and the gardens are amazing
Terrible wedding planners, stay well clear till they start employing grownups to organise these very important events.
We went for afternoon tea which was delightful. A beautiful setting and lovely staff made it even more wonderful.
Really lovely afternoon tea. The food was tasty and plentiful, with never ending tea and a lovely glass of fizz. The staff are friendly and attentive. This was a birthday treat for a friend on an Itison voucher and it represented very good value.
Attended an event in the grand marquee which was a fixed marquee. The grounds around the marquee were beautiful and are well maintained, certainly makes a great location for a wedding reception.
The food was lovely, and such a beautiful setting. I had a really lovely time
Wynyard Hall has all the trappings of a stately home yet is relaxed and comfortable. We were looking for somewhere special for a celebration and Wynyard ticked all the boxes. We had a magnificent massive bedroom overlooking the lake. When we arrived there was a bottle of Prosecco on ice in the room together with chocolate covered strawberries. The staff were warm and welcoming. There is a wonderful terrace and various lounges.
We had complimentary tickets to The Gardens which were breathtaking. These are a must to anyone visiting the area.
Everything about Wynyard Hall is top drawer and it is apparent that a great deal of hard work goes into the running of the Estate. The entrance off the main road through Millionaire's Row was a good taste of what was to come.
We would definitely recommend this hotel. You won't be disappointed.
Beautiful hotel. I been many times for various events but this was the 1st time we stayed overnight. The rooms are lovely. Nice toiletries in bathroom and robes and slippers.
The hotel is very grand with beautiful grounds. There is a Do a spa on site, but you have to pay extra for access and book ahead.
There is a lovely cafe and gardens with a gift shop too.
We attended a ball in the Grand Markee. There was over 400 guests and the service was excellent. The waiters are clearly very well trained. They all worked very hard and efficiently.
Drinks are quite expensive, but they usually are at hotels anyway.
The only downside was breakfast. When we arrived we were seated and the waiter in charge practically threw the menu at us as he rushed by. I asked for eggs royal which was not on the menu. They did however have eggs Benedict and smoked salmon with scrambled egg. They waiter told me they could not do an eggs royal. I pointed out that they offered similar dishes and it would be quite simple replace the ham with some salmon. He was very huffy and appeared very put out at my request.
I got my eggs Royal and it was very nice. My husband chose an English breakfast and thus was very poor. The bacon was pale and greasy. The friend eggs had clearly been sat on a hot-plate and were rubbery and greasy.
Not what I would expect from a 4* hotel. Premier inn' s do a better breakfast.
Over all we had a nice stay.
Spa Rasul Experience and Overnight stay in a cottage with family and friends
Well organised staff very friendly and helpful picturesque surroundings definitely go again
Beautiful place and scenery - attended Wedding Fayre 21/1/18 and had afternoon tea 6/10/17 as a birthday treat
A beautiful setting, prices to refleck why people with money can make more
Greedy people
Went to a wedding reception. Venue is absolutely stunning. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Would recommend to anyone getting married.
Very impressive reception hall and a very large equally impressive room. Staff very helpful.
The fireworks were very good. The car parking preparations were inadequate in light of the poor weather and heavy rain preceding the event. A number of cars got stuck going in and leaving, which made for slow progress. In all it was worth attending for the fireworks, so long as you're happy to spend 45 minutes getting in and getting out.
I have a lactose tolerance and the staff went out of their way to accommodate me. Can't praise them enough.
Absolutely beautiful venue, with attentive staff and relaxed atmosphere
Christmas Fayre today - very good. Lovely place to go to.
If you're looking for somewhere peaceful with good food at a reasonable price, would recommend this place!
Really nice setting however food was very poor especially considering the price. Sub standard ingredients with very little taste. Staff did not ask once if everything was ok. Very sorry to say the bread was the best part.
Amazing building and grounds. I was there for a friends wedding, food was OK but disappointed that the bar had a problem with dispensing draft beers. So had to drink bottled beers.
Attended for a conference. Lovely surroundings, good facilities. Nice food. Will return for sure
Used the outdoor ice rink... Not bad for price... However I expected it to be bigger.
Just popped to the farm shop to have a look around. Very impressive will be back in the summer to visit the gardens.
I attended Wynyard for a conference. It is a huge place. Plenty of parking space. Very well decorated and clean. Food was not that good bit disappointing.
