I played the 18 hole par three course today, for probably the last time. The course is fine but the golf club has lost all pretense of maintaining any sense of etiquette. Expect to be stuck behind three balls sharing one set of clubs, chavs in jeans doing anything but playing golf and the occasional six ball, for good measure.
I skipped three holes because I didn't want to die of boredom, queuing behind folk who should be on a pitch and putt at the seaside, with their hats on back to front.
I complained about all this at reception and even they agreed they didn't enforce a dress code, despite having a marshall driving around on a buggy, doing sod all. It begs the question; why is there a huge sign saying collared shirts only, no denim, no distressed (?) clothing, golf shoes must be worn, no sharing clubs, etc, near the first tee?
All in all a real shame, because this course is great for honing your short game. It's tragic it will end up being lost to anyone who loves the game, to geezers in jeans and no idea.
Unless you have the patience of Job, don't bother with the par three course. I only give it one star because none is not an option.

I loved the experience, the facilities are a top notch, the staff is very welcoming. It was my first time trying a driving range and felt very comfortable around other experienced golfers. Impressed with the COVID safety measures in place. I will most definitely visit again.

We played on both the short par 3 and main course. The standard of the par 3 was surprisingly good and great for target practice. The main course was interesting with some challenges. The greens on both were fantastic, fast and honest.
The only reason Im giving this a 4star was that the restaurant staff were poor. On both days we had food orders misplaced and we waited between 25 & 40min in a relatively quiet restaurant.

Course in good state despite the adverse weather. No marshaling speed of play. Group in front did not let us through. 4 1/2h it took us four a round of social golf. Every hole involved at least 4 minutes waiting time.

Went there for an evening wedding reception and thoroughly enjoyed it, bar staff were plentiful and friendly and food was excellent. Lovely place it has certainly improved it's offering from a few years back which was the last time I went to a function there.

Very helpful and professional staff. The driving range is very well equipped and run. I also, really like the feeling of inclusiveness on the course (and definitely no stuffiness) - last time I played there was every age and gender on the course... fantastic!

Lovely course but very busy and couldnt get food after my round dispite the kitchen closing at 4pm and me being in the bar at 3:55 which ruined the day for me because I was very hungry by then

Excellent system in place for administering the driving range; cleverly thought out and implemented. Great to finally go back after so long and do a bit of decent practice at such a good venue. Well done to all the team there.

Tee'd off today at 10.40am in a 2 ball both of us with buggies. Had to walk off at the 15th at 2.20pm due to ridiculously slow play and having to do the school run.

Played a week before and was the same then too. Was hoping it was a one off as never normally that busy, but seems to be a regular thing now, speaking to a couple members.
Unfortunately will be giving the couse a miss in the future.

Perfect beginners course with the par 3 and facilities. I started my golf out here, the par 3 is great for people just starting and for kids. And with the full course as well as decent range facilities you can start progressing nicely here. I would say there are better full courses around but its not bad by any means.

Well looked after and very popular. But because of the fact its on the side of the hill, the course decides whether a good shot remains good or a bad shot suddenly ends up on the green

Amazing group of locals. Very precise with covid measures without effecting the overall atmosphere. Would definitely recommend for a drink or two. The range is also brilliant, very much like top golf for much less cost.

New to golf, the par 3 course is brilliant. The standard of the course is so much better than the other par 3's that i have played. It is literally a mini course with all of the challenges you could face in a full main course. 5 Stars, best around!

Great place for golf. Hill makes course challenging which adds to the fun. You can't just power down the course, you have to judge the power carefully to prevent over run. Great was to spend afternoon.

Went for the first time to try the toptracer driving range. Limited to 50 balls and not every bay has the function so I got stuck on one without. Range slopes down from right to left as well so not great to track your shots
