Working for this company seems prosperous. It's pretty, it seems like a laid back environment and the people seem nice. Unfortunately looks are deceiving.

I got the job through a temp agency I was hired to work in the bulk section replacing a position that had turned over I believe they told me twice in the year preceding me. So when I arrived I was being trained by ringers filling in at the position. I was told that my supervisor would be around to train me...that turned out to be quite the exaggeration as the only time he came by was to go in or out of the warehouse for a smoke break; but, I'm not gonna harp on him, the supervisor I had was actually a rather nice guy, and while he did contribute to the disgusting event that led to me no longer working here, I acknowledge that if he didnt have such a tyrant of a boss, things would have been different.

So the ringers training advice was rather incomplete, the one guy training me on how to pick just went on about the guy I was replacing and didnt really tell me anything useful...but hey he gave me a box cutter, of which I'm pretty sure was from work, as that's what he did with the new guy after me, just picked up a knife from the little pot housing them and handed it to the guy as a "gift". The lady who trained me on the computer, her idea of training was to instill the practice of just coming to her so she could do it for me; instead of, you know, guiding me through the process...but...the problem is I'm not entirely sure whether the terrible attempt to train me was due to ignorance of how to train someone, or if it was purposely done to try and get rid of me. See the 2 of them had this sneaky little friend of whom tried to tell me about this "GREAT OPPORTUNITY" (ironically enough where he said he lived, and yet, he had no interest in pursuing it himself) and this opportunity was way better than working at wurth, because it's this it's that, it pays more and blah blah blah...the snake laid it on so thick that I think even the village fool could have seen through his blatant attempt at manipulation. After that I started noticing that the 3 of them were always lying to me about what managers said, gossiping about me to our co-workers, and overall trying to get me fired. So yeah that was fun to deal with from my very first week; but, nothing, nothing compares to the big cheese manager there.

Holy hell...I...I...I don't even know where to begin. This piece of work is; THEE, definition of tyrant. The dude treated my supervisor like absolute trash, made backhanded comments to my face all the time, and anytime he'd get mad about something, rather than talk to you about it, he'd just punish you. Such as: telling you that you can't do overtime because of eg/ "sales are down so no one can do overtime" (meanwhile a guy who started after me was doing overtime and it was no problem) or he'll tell you he has a big tour coming through the warehouse and therefore it needs to be cleaned and spotless (not exaggerating on the spotless request either...it's like he wanted to eat lunch off the floor or something). I know for a fact that he'd do these request maliciously due to my supervisors words "he must have been pretty mad at me that day", this in reference to the day it was POURING rain, freeeeeeeeeeeezing cold, and wanted the flags on the flag pole changed right then and there.

Simply put, this place is a great place to work...IF...you kiss the big cheeses butt-crack and tell him it tastes like ice cream. Otherwise your in for a long bumpy ride.

After recently transferring locations from Canadian Tire Orillia to Milton I decided to run a cost analysis between the two store. Alarmingly I came to find James had been double to triple billing our current store for years. Working for a large corporation it was very sad to see this company take full advantage our store and not step up to the plate to correct the problem once the whistle was blown. Do you use this company? Are you thinking of using this company? Please I suggest you contact me so I can go over my pricing list with you to see where your books stand with this one star company.
