I was here this summer for a Cubs game and really enjoyed sitting in the stadium. This stadium while old gives you a nostalgic feel from the past. The seats have been replaced and are more comfortable than the old ones. The main drawbacks of course is the extremely expensive food and beverages. I would return for another event.

Sad that Wrigley is trying to act like the newer ball parks. It reduces it's charm considerably. Wrigley had been one of the few parks whose in-park entertainment was congruent with baseball's rate of play. Unfortunately that's no longer true.
It is the largest and coolest stadium in the city. I have very warm childhood memories associated with it. My father drove me to this stadium for painless games. The stadium is large, there are many seats, clean, the staff is pleasant. This is the stadium already, like the history of the whole of Chicago. For big fans of baseball and football, this is the best place to stay)
The Holy Grail of ball parks! The best park I've ever visited. I've had the pleasure of visiting this park on multiple occasions and it always exceeds my expectations. Buzz is impossible to recreate, something about Chicago that makes it different.
Classic ballpark. If the seating and section numbering weren't so screwy I would have give 5 stars. We even asked an usher and still sat in wrong seats until we eventually found our seats and enjoyed the game. Great atmosphere.
Great iconic traditional styled ballpark, always fun to see the Cubbies play. Fans are great; no one really gets out of control. Definitely family friendly. But typical of professional sports venues, the food is mediocre and way over priced. The staff don't seem to closely monitor where you sit, so as long as you're in your general section, you can often move to a better open seat. But that also means that if you get up to use the bathroom or get food, you could very easily find someone else in your seat when you return. People are good about giving it back if you actually have the ticket for that seat.
Speaking of bathrooms, not every level has restrooms on it, so you might have to go up or down a level. Not convenient at all when you really need to go.
People say that Fenway Park is "America's most beloved ballpark" and that it is the greatest place to watch a ball game, but they are far off the mark. Watching a baseball game at Wrigley Field is an experience like no other. It is a gorgeous place to watch a ball game during every season, from the beginning of a season to the end. In the summer time, the sunlight on your face, the refreshing breeze from the lake, the smell of food and the lush, green grass with the ivy..it is heaven. It is the most beautiful place to watch a ball game, and one of the most gorgeous places in the midwest. The experience is even more enjoyable with a competitive team on the field! If you have the ability to go, do so. You will remember it for the rest of your life.
Wrigley Field is great - customer service from security to the wonderful people working the food lines. However, the people attending games nowadays seem to not care about the game nor about the people trying to watch it. Constantly up and down and in and out of their seats, not allowing much of a focus on the game...
Always a great time! I went with some people that needed accessibility assistance and they have done a great job with adding elevators and staff to assist with getting people to where they need to go. The hotdogs and beer were delicious!
Definitely a must see Destination it has a quaint over all look that's hard to find in today's baseball stadiums it does not look safe if there were to be a fire as exit ing the stadium takes quite a long time although then the safety it's very nice place to visit and see a bit of history
In Chicago for a couple of days and managed to get a bleacher seat for the Cubs game. Fantastic experience. Old school baseball and atmosphere. Took the train from Downtown and followed the crowds to the field. Can't wait to go back next time I'm in town.
Definitely a one of a kind experience! The stadium is very historic and the energy from the crowd is incredible! It's a place where you have to go to at least once if you're in Chicago!
I always like coming to watch the Cubs play. Wrigley Field is a beautiful stadium with lots of history. It really does make for a great time, if ball park food isn't your thing there's plenty of good food near by
Any day at Wrigley field is a good day! The beer, the fresh air, and a good hot dog accompanied by baseball, there is nothing better!! Wrigley field is clean, the bathrooms are majority of the time in good shape and for housing more than 40,000 that really says something!! This has been and always will be one of my favorite stadiums!!
Haven't been in years, but went last week to a Cardinal/Cub game. As a Cardinal fan, I had admittedly not been a fan of Wrigley in the past, but they've made some notable changes for the better. I forgot how small the stadium was in comparison to other ballparks, but that's one of its defining characteristics. The atmosphere around the stadium is more baseball themed and festive. Well done!
The history speaks for itself. The stadium is clean, comfortable, and an all around great experience. Staff was friendly and helpful. If it's your first time make sure to grab a certificate. Also make sure to grab a Chicago dog while enjoying the game!
The stadium reputation speaks for itself, beautiful. The food service however is a joke. $40 for 2 hotdogs a beer and pretzel should not take 20 minutes to serve.
Even if you dont have tickets go hang outside where there are activities bands and a big screen to watch the game. The food has gotten so much better here of course the prices are outrageous.
Had the best experience here. Loved every minute of my time here, and loved the crowd, the beer, the food, everything. Felt like I was part of a really iconic experience.
Of course you have to go for the experience of being in this famous ballpark. There was plenty of room to walk around despite being very crowded. Lots of bathrooms and the lines for them moved quickly.
Very authentic baseball experience. Old school traditions make the atmosphere all the more electric. The surrounding bars and restaurants toward the outfield have tier d seating on their roofs and external spectators can look at the action. An amazing old school stadium. If you want to experience what baseball means to Americans. Pay a visit to Wrigley field.
It is Wrigley. It can't get anything less. And I am a Jay's fan. The seats are awesome. I dislike we don't get to see the pitchers warm up any more. The food is fantastic. But you have to get the real meats. And a dawg covered in just about everything. The new outdoor area is great after a post win hang out. Parking is rough though. Probably the worst thing about the parks location. If you haven't gone...you have too just once. This Park is history.
Our first visit. Baseball paradise. 78 degrees w a light breeze and not a cloud in the sky. Dingers by Hayward and Baez and a big W for the Cubbies. Could not have scripted a better first visit to a historic baseball landmark. Totally lucked out with the weather. Perfect day!
Great game and stadium. Last time I was there the bathrooms were worse than a camping out house. They are clean and nice now. Food was great, great experience.
Worst service I have experienced. Very slow cashiers. All seem new and untrained. No signage telling you that is cash only. Out of hot chocolate. How can you be out of hot chocolate in such a cold environment?
The last time I visited Wrigley was nearly 18 years ago. And the sheer amount of updates to both the ballpark and surrounding area are amazing. From the food options, to shops, to overall experience? It's a really great spot to spend some time, even if you dont catch a game (you totally should by the way).
And this is all coming from a fan of the Sox, I really enjoy the atmosphere of both parks and the unique experience they both offer.
It simply doesn't get any better than this. Wrigley is baseball heaven. If you haven't been there and you're a baseball fan, do yourself a favor and go. Just take it all in
What can you say about Wrigley Field that hasn't been said a thousand times. The friendly confines are one of the best, if not the best places to watch a baseball game. The recent renovations and scoreboard upgrades have made it even more pleasurable while still keeping all of the charm that is expected from a venue this old. I would highly recommend doing the tour on and on game day if you would like to really experience everything that there is to see at Wrigley Field.
Very funky business project, first they sell you tickets that don't allow you to sit. Then the stewards starts to tell you that it's not allowed to stand here and there..... Inadequate prices for beer and hotdogs.... Dear management team, can I get my money back?
Wrigley is a great place to watch a ball game. The place is historic, and shows its age in some places, but modern updates over the years have kept the place charming instead of run down. Concessions prices are sky high, but they have a very generous policy of letting you bring in any food or beverage you want (with typical alcohol, glass, metal restrictions). Everyone in the crowd is having a great time, and you will too.
Classic ballpark, unparalleled baseball experience. Much improved in recent years, but need to speed up concession lines. I missed two whole innings of a recent game standing in line just to get a snack (though it was a unique Wrigley bison dog, very tasty). The concession lines have TV monitors but you don't buy a ticket and come to the stadium to watch the game on a monitor.
