I loved Ironman. I did (past tense). I loved every aspect of my job! for years everyday was a day i woke up and loved going to work. That all changed starting two years ago. Ironman felt they needed to go with more of the Quantity than Quality approach when it came to work, staff and ethics. One by One staff that contributed more time, blood, sweat and tears were singled out and replaced by new people that had zero place being hired into these roles.
You attempt to stay positive, smile and do what you must to strive on. Then HR was completely overhauled. It went from semi-bearable to a circus act very quickly. Head of HR felt the need to begin replacing people for multiple reasons, no notice, no reasoning....pack your stuff and get out.
I struggled so hard to remain optimistic... but the final straw was my superior was removed from her position and they hired someone right out of collage to do a directors job... it just doesn't make any sense. who is allowing HR to make these decisions. I felt as if the head of HR is someone with blinders on, making rash decisions for the benefit of what? saving money? i just am lost for words.
Moral across the entire company is terrible. Infighting and zero responsibility. Attitudes and backhanded hurtful comments between staff.
I'll never forget, i overheard a member of I.T say out loud "Its 2019 let that b-word hold the door open for me" same individual i refused to ask for help with any technical issue. Why would anyone want to ask for help when you get a nasty attitude when it is your job to help. Any of the other IT staff where more than accommodating.
Head of Finance. Unapproachable and belittling.
Head of Merchandise. Rude and Unprofessional.
The CFO needs to be made aware of true issues and start with HR. Does not belong and does not know what she is doing.
