Irene Smith is the most gifted domestic violence attorney s I have known. She is a passionate advocate for women and children and works to protect their safety. Irene is the lowest paid attorney in Baltimore but the hardest working. Unlike other lawyers, Irene is compassionate and uses the legal system to fight for justice without personal gain.

I wonder if they are fair to men? Hopefully they are fair to each side but that is not what I understand from people who have dealt with this organization

The WLC of MD is an amazing organization. They do excellent work advocating for survivors and their children. I fully trust, believe, and support the work that they do. The staff attorneys, support staff, and all involved in the organization give their best effort at all times to ensure that survivors and their children are vigorously represented.

I wish I would have known about the services offered by the Women s Law Center before my divorce. This organization is amazing and a real asset to our city. The attornies are phenomenal!

I have dealt with them in the past.. I gonna say this Baltimore seem to have a network of people in the law field make you question them. I heard horror stories from men and women, who dealt with this organization. See Baltimore have a clickish.. attitude with their "professionals" all in who you know. Etc. It makes it bad when u do have good lawyers. Then the ones that could care less.

Thank you so much for your services to women in Baltimore and the surrounding areas. To all the women who have been helped through your organization, I admire you, and I support you, and you are brave for standing up to your abusers and shielding your children.

Still there is excuse for some of the most disgusting behavior that I've ever seen from an attorney

Irene Smith is such a liar and plays dirty! I understand there are real abusive people out there that need a real shark to advocate for them but My long time friend Tim Berkemeier is NO THREAT or an ABUSIVE person!!!! He's a great Father and just wants to spend time with his son. I've heard the 911 call on Facebook which was ridiculous!!! I've seen videos of Tim's ex forcing her way into his home and acting like a lunatic in front of their son. This is all too much for a decent man just wanting to be a father to his son! Now we all know this isn't a typical case because a lot of father's are trying to NOT be there for their kids and simply just don't care. Tim cares!!!! He's a good person inside and out and me and my connections will help him however we can.

Awful. They treated me like I was a red-headed step child! That's racist against my red hair! Very unprofessional and rude.

Irene Smith is the most unprofessional attorney I have ever heard of. Many stories and recordings of False 911 calls made by this Attorney . Not only does this Law office help women who need it . They also help women lie about abuse to obtain full Custody . False 911 calls, false police reports. False Harrassment claims are her specialty. This is completely unacceptable behavior for anyone, let alone a "legal professional ". DISCUSTING in every way.
