Find a good friend or family member for advice, help. Now that I had to move because father broke ivo and caused even more trouble, 1 year later I'm told I'm not in their area. Between DHHS and this bunch they are a waste of tax payers money. Help yourself, much easier. I already knew this from walking into WHW there 15 years ago, useless, I helped myself, they have not gotten any better. But DHHS made me waste more time and my patience is spent. Tell me, what do they do to help? What do they offer. Advice. Utube has better advice. Never would I recommend this non for profit organisation to anyone. No people skills for angry people. They need to gain a few skills on dealing with human emotions. I worked in a call centre, never did I terminate a call from an angry customer, never.

About Women's Health West

GenWest, formerly known as Women's Health West, is a leading family violence support service that has been providing assistance to women and families in the western region of Melbourne for over 30 years. The organization is committed to promoting gender equality and preventing violence against women by delivering a range of programs and services that support communities to lead safe and healthy lives.

At GenWest, we understand the devastating impact that family violence can have on individuals, families, and communities. That's why we offer a range of services designed to help those affected by family violence. Our team of experienced professionals provides crisis support, counseling, legal advice, advocacy services, and referrals to other specialist services.

We also work closely with community groups and organizations to raise awareness about family violence prevention. Our education programs are designed for schools, workplaces, community groups or any other organization interested in learning more about how they can help prevent family violence.

Our commitment to gender equality extends beyond our work with victims of family violence. We believe that everyone should have access to equal opportunities regardless of their gender identity or expression. That's why we provide training programs for businesses and organizations on how they can create inclusive workplaces where everyone feels valued.

At GenWest we are proud of our achievements in promoting gender equality and preventing family violence. We have received numerous awards for our work including the Victorian Premier’s Award for Community Harmony in 2018.

If you or someone you know is experiencing family violence or would like more information about our programs please contact us today on (insert phone number) or visit our website at (insert website URL).
