Welcome to Women and Children's Horizons, a non-profit organization that has been advocating for victims of sexual and domestic violence/abuse since 1976. Our mission is to provide safety, shelter, education, and support to women and children who have experienced abuse.

Our emergency shelter provides a safe haven for women and children who are fleeing abusive situations. We offer a secure environment where survivors can begin the healing process without fear of further harm. Our staff is available 24/7 to provide emotional support as well as practical assistance such as food, clothing, transportation or medical care.
In addition to our emergency shelter program we also offer counseling services for both adults and children affected by domestic violence or sexual assault. Our licensed therapists work with clients one-on-one or in group settings depending on their needs.
Legal advocacy is another important service provided by Women and Children's Horizons. We assist clients with obtaining restraining orders against abusers as well as navigating the court system during divorce proceedings or child custody battles.
Support groups are an essential part of our program because they allow survivors to connect with others who have had similar experiences. These groups provide a safe space where participants can share their stories without fear of judgment while receiving emotional support from peers who understand what they're going through.
