Went for a drive around the wisemans ferry and stumbled upon this place. Amazing views, great food, reasonable pricing, super friendly and caring staff members.

Rode past on a Tuesday. They were closed, but made me a coffee anyway. Good chat. Loaned me a shifter to tighten a mirror on my bike. Didn t charge me for anything. Good people. Drop in.

Wow! What a view. Incredibly friendly, welcoming service. Everything is made from scratch from the pies to the unforgettable carrot cake, you won't find better.
They have taken a hit after the bushfires went through the national park and were closed, so drop in and support this business

It is quite an experience dining at the Wombat Cafe. Their burger is fantastic. Not just big but also yummy. Perfect location with picturesque view. The staff is friendly except for the lady who happened to be not pleased when she saw our group (4 family cars). She immediately told us that we should have booked ahead. I don't understand what is the fuss about since we occupied 4 tables only. Then she told my six year old daughter not to make a mess in their lounge room when all that time, my daughter was just sitting on the sofa watching dvd with her friend. I just let it go so as not to ruin our weekend getaway. We've been there before a couple of times and would love to come back but hopefully it will be more family friendly next time.

Wow, what a welcoming place! Nearly missed the opportunity to have dinner in the area as restaurants close fairly early up that way. Annetta took us in and looked after us like I never have been before-she made amazing pizzas from scratch in front of my eyes. Tasty!! She undercharges so tip her I want to go back during the day, see the view and try her cakes. I know they ll be good too. Do yourself a favour!

We were pleasantly surprised. Anetta cooks from the heart and literally makes everything in the place. A great outlook, a lovely meal. The pizza was nice, the parmigiana was impressive and the desert yummy. We enjoyed ourselves.

Just found this place today and it is now my favourite cafe / restaurant. Had a chicken pie and cheese cake... Food was exceptional and the owner / cook was a lovely person and had lots of time for a chat about the local produce used. Well done Wombat Cafe, I will be back soon.

This is a must visit for motorcycle riders. Located on wiseman s ferry road. If you are coming from Sydney, cross through the ferry and njoy the scenic view of the road. The caffe is located on the road, easily identifiable. You can enjoy the scenery through caffe with glass of beer or coffee.

Staff were great very warm and welcoming but the place could do with a dust and general clean!! Decor is terrible too, more healthy options for food would've been good, could be so much nicer.. on the plus side the view is beautiful!!

Pulled up outside, sign said closed. Around the front sign said open. Went inside greeted by dog which clearly had the run of the interior and had not been taught to keep off the customers. Interior smelled strongly of rancid frying oil. Didn't stay to taste the food or coffee.

Coffee was fine but don't come here expect anything amazing. Really lovely and warm service. Great view of the mountains while eating.

Wife, 2x kids and I had Dinner at this place whilst returning to Central Coast, from St Albans. Nice big meals, kids were satisfied and couldn't finish them. We dined in. Great views, friendly hosts, and even a Pool table to play whilst waiting for the food.

My wife and grandkids were on our way to Del Rio at Wisemans Ferry for the weekend & called in there for lunch and the feed and staff were great.We called in there on the way out with the rest of my family and had breakfast & it was great as well

Wombat Cafe located is at wiseman ferry road at Gunderman. View from this cafe is stunning. Coffee was nice and the lady who served coffee to us was friendly and cheerful.

Parking is available in this cafe. Indoor and outdoor seating is also available.

COVID Safe - Yes . They have maintained Visitors logbook and social distancing is practiced all the time.
