A pretty building, but the rail excursions appear to be cancelled due to COVID. Check on that before going. A pretty, modern restoration of an old building that looks like new. Nice parks below with a kids play area. Even better if the train was running.

The canal museum on the lower level of the station is definitely worth checking out and provides some great insights into the past with interactive displays, dioramas, video clips with audio and words for hearing impaired, and an abundance of facts and stories allowing you to almost put yourself into the strenuous life of the canal families and the incredible amount of effort it took to create the canal system.

Great train ride. Very scenic. Have rode with my Grandparents here many times, including once in the cab of 734. Also have been to the shop in Ridgeley. Some cars can be a bit stuffy, but it's a great ride. Great way to kill time with your family!

The smells of restaurants at mile marker zero were wonderful. The people on the C&O Canal were friendly as usual. The sights, and smells for the beginning of November 2020 were as God had planned the day.
