I had my hysterectomy here and my Dr is Dr. Renee Smith who did an amazing job, the nurses took great care of me during my over night stay, they kept my pain down and were very attentive. I slept most of my stay so, forgive me if I m wrong but I believe their names were Tila and Morgan. Thank you ladies for your care.

Physical therapy rated 5/5. Billing system rated -5 out of 5. Horrific. Paid in full before every visit. Canceled one visit due to covid symptoms.

For the last 3 months been receiving bills ranging from 700 to 4,500 dollars. Apparently several issues were in play... 1) billing had the visits on one account and all the payments on another account. 2) one visit that was canceled due to covid symptoms was never canceled in the system (not sure why....New front office when I called to cancel. System shows an appointment and no cancellation).

Finally after 3 months of billing calling... Then discussing the issue for 30+ minutes them realising it was a billing error... saying the issue was resolved..... I was still receiving bills days later. I agreed to pay another 70 dollars (amount I payed per visit) just to not receive another call or bill. Asked for a letter saying paid in full to not deal with the nightmare anymore.

Don't call here if you want to talk to a live person. Doctors aren't being told messages(important messages). Played phone tag. That's what it's like. Tag your it. If that's the way you want your Healthcare. Stated leaving messages 10:00AM It's now 7:00PM. Still no doctor call I was told would happen at 11:45. Set up new doctor call and got a pharmacist. I would not recommend this mess.

My husband 58, was brought to the ER early monday morning. They found he was septic and kidneys had stopped functioning. Critical Care staff took care over him and I've never seen teamwork as amazing as this team cares for my very sick husband. The care and knowledge of his day and night shift are amazing, Not sure how his outcome from this will be. But this team is not giving up on him, nor the lack of trying. My family and I are blessed to have them care for him. Thanks to all who have a part in caring for him. The doctors, and the day and night shift nurses, a special Thank you.

The staff are actually very solid, with the exception of some of the actual doctors. If you're going to excel at one area of a hospital, the medical staff should be the area of focus, and unfortunately here the doctors are not up to snuff. I was sent home with no pain pills and no extra steps when I had a herniated disc which had to be removed. The doctor put me in for a catscan (which doesn't pick up soft tissue damage) and even though I was I the most horrific pain I've ever experienced in my life (I've had two kidney stones and they're nothing compared to this), they sent me away with NO prescription. I get it that you have rx chasers who come in and fake pain in order to get scrips, but maybe check a patients history to help determine that???

Fortunately I'm friends with a doctor who referred me to an MRI and guess what? I had surgery less than a week later. The MRI clearly shows the damage I had, which the ER doctor said I was fine.

My wife had a similar experience the two times she's been in (one for a kidney stone, one for a broken hip).

Nurses and all the administrative staff are solid. The doctors? Y'all need some help...

If I could give less I would. The care this hospital offers their patients is horrible. They need to work on their bedside manner. Even called customer service to tell them how a nurse was making fun of me and they could care less about the situation. Definitely not 8,900 dollars worth for care! Plus they said I had abdominal pain and sent me home. I went to a different doctor and was actually diagnosed ovarian cysts. So take with that information was you will.

Falsely quoted a price for their physical therapy services and then billed us for way more. They could not answer for the costs they gave us during our first visit. Then told us we could make payments and "as long as we were paying every month, no matter amount, the account would stay in good standing". Then received a letter from a law firm to make collections on the account after 6 months of consistent payments. MAKE SURE EVERYTHING IS IN WRITING WHEN DEALING WITH THESE PEOPLE

Both of my elderly parents (both almost 90 years old now) have been treated at Wise Health System during the pandemic and the results have been exemplary. Aside from a case of neglect by one rehabilitation center nurse (who failed to inflate a bed mattress after servicing which resulted in 10 hours of considerable discomfort for my mother recovering from hip replacement surgery) we have no other complaints. My father's ER and subsequent hospital and followup treatment have been excellent. This all happened during the height of the pandemic and we all feared one or both would be infected and suffer COVID complications. No infection occurred. Considering how virulent SARS-CoV-2 is, my hat is off to EVERYONE at Wise Health System for their superb treatment and care of my parents during these difficult times.

As for their billing service provider, much is left to be desired. They billed twice for the same treatment which my mother paid before realizing she had already paid for it. Still waiting to hear back from the billing service for a refund.
