ALL LIES NOTHING BUT FALSE REASSURANCE. Transfer and discharge rights of a patient. Guess what? Serrano south convalescent hospital refused patient readmission within 8 day bed hold . Fall in the activity room. Burns on cheeks. kidney failure as a result direct result of neglect and abuse!!!!! CA DEPT OF PBLIC HEALTH SO CORRUPT! Where's the citation that will be issued to serrano south because Dept public health holds a notion that the Dept cannot force the facility Los Angeles superior judges! What a a marriage. People IN Position protects each other instead of protecting the public. Who is going to protect us now. Governor Brown, I voted for you so please these major Departments Needs CLEAN UP

I'm rating the mental health rude receptionist twice sent people ahead of me to see the psychiatrist when i asked why she wouldn't answer I told my therapist as I had problems being treated bad in the past and l wanted to know if it was me she told me to deal with it donna vega

THE SERVICE HERE IS HORRIBLE MY GRANDFATHER IS 80 YEARS OLD AND HAS BEEN ATTEMPTING TO RECEIVE AN INTAKE DATE OR LET ALONE A PHONE CALL THE RECEPTIONIST IS A RUDE LADY THAT HAS NO LIFE !!!

Terrible awful service.will never donate any money to thus place.

Spent an entire day at the center, and participated in most of the activities, which I strongly believe the seniors needed to keep their minds active, and to feel worthy. Activities were geared toward the holistic being. I had a super time, and would definitely revisit. Keep up the great work!

When we recently needed their help, we contacted the Ombudsman Program. Our case was handled by Matthew Bressette of the Wise & Healthy Aging Group. He was understanding of the situation, very knowledgeable of Senior rights, and an excellent advocate. His willingness to help us is greatly appreciated.

Extremely racist hostile place - was harrassed by chairman of the board asked a question was told to leave have file discrimination several times seeking counsel . But it does nothing for seniors a place for family to dump those who are a burden and only caucasians and those they deem worthy are allowed
Their programs are fraud whole place is just another city fraud to keep up appearances. Horrible staff - tyrant name candace. compulsive liar and hates gentiles . Mostly older wealthy people abusing the poor. I had trained for a position there whole thing was a fraud which fed government paid for its unbelievable getting old is hard enough but when your resources are fraudulent as well as those who are supposed help take care. Its disappointing.

Wise and Healthy Aging is a wonderful community with multiple services and activities. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and they do a wonderful job of integrating new members into the community.

Not a true senior center meeting only city government requirements no advocacy and very much one culture and race lack of diversity.

This place has something for everyone who's aging. From activities to socialization with your peer group.
