Pretty poor experience interviewing for an internal position. Did multiple phone interviews. Even met with 2 different people for a face-to-face interview. The last interview I had, #6, a phone screen with one of the partners went well. The feedback she gave to my recruiter was not true. They then gave my recruiter feedback that I was "too smart for my own good and were not comfortable with bringing me on because I am working on my Masters."
This was brought up from the beginning and only at the end, did someone say something else.

I am a consultant working through WinterWyman for a company here in Boston for almost 4 months now. They provided all my paperwork on time, and they are very responsive especially Sean Dowling. I have worked with many big vendors in my past but all I can say is WinterWyman is the best so far when it comes to communication and paperwork
The recruiters lie to you pretty much about everything. On the contract side, if they can find somebody cheaper to sell to the client, regardless of competence, they will, to maximize their margin while stringing you along as a backup. If you do manage to secure a contract with them, they require a background check, a Massachusetts CORI (redundant and not relevant unless you are working with children or the elderly--which is never the case), and a drug test. Funny how the biggest liars out there want to know everything about you. On the permanent position recruitment side, they are completely clueless on how to match candidates'' skills with job requirements. Recruiting agencies do not employ the best and the brightest to begin with (used car salespeople perhaps), but Winter Wyman is composed of the highest concentration of dirtbags in such a confined space as there ever was,.
