This is a great and interesting thing to do in Dublin, especially if you are a music fan. Our guide, Andrew was brilliant and good-humoured. You are walking in the footsteps of musical giants throughout but you don't get to hear a lot of those very famous tracks, which is a pity. Well worth doing for visitors to the city and Dubs who never got around to it.
Hi my husband had a session there on Friday, it was on his bucket list. I got him the 3hr session. From start to finish, we were met by the engineer Fergal. He was unreal, made my husband relax big time. My husband has Parkinson's so even though he had to stop alot Fergal was brilliant. So I highly recommend windmill lane studio and of course Fergal, so thank you regards susanne
What a legendary studio! I absolutely loved the guided tour by Maria, she did such a great job answering all questions and giving all the information about the studio. Maria also gave us a taste of the sound of the iconic Steinway grand piano right in the studio. If you love music, do not miss this tour, it's a gem!
Top facilities in Dublin city. Have recorded in here for sessions and video shoots for solo projects and orchestral work, films, movies, pop records etc.
Staff are great and go beyond the call of duty.
It's no surprise that many of the top recording artists in the world have cut records here.
An iconic, world class facility. Thoroughly enjoyed my experience here. A huge mention to Daniel & Phil, these guys are worth their weight in gold.
Amazing experience. Super friendly and professional staff.
Absolutely amazing people, best experience to work with and learn from
I would highly recommend this tour for anyone with an interest in music particularly, although it is suitable for everyone. Our tour guide Maria was brilliant! She was so knowledgeable and clearly has a passion for her work. We learned all about the history of the studio as well as getting a look into the behind the scenes. It was super interesting and I thoroughly enjoyed the tour. If you're looking for something different to do in Dublin, this is a must!
Went for an excellent tour of the studios. Really interesting and detailed tour, given by the talented and enthusiastic Niall, sound engineer, who clearly loves his job!! We saw all the studios, found out about the history and the various artists who have worked there, as well as a great demo of how tracks are laid down and a mix made. Really recommend this to all budding sound engineers and music enthusiasts.
