Beautiful place, but terrible people and practices. I've seen it first hand what they do to the horses here. As someone who used to work here I've seen the beatings and soring going on first hand, it's on camera too.
Beautiful place, I would highly recommend anyone looking for employment to never consider this as an option. Any rating for this place above a 1 has to be friends of that family or coherence. Absolutely awful place. Look up the trainers record. I could go on and on with what s wrong here but my moms words come back to me.
Beautiful place. Well kept. Nice people. Clean cut. Would board a horse here no question about it.

Please don t ride here! It s a beautiful property; I even looked at it once to consider board for my mare but these are the people that involve themselves with the horrendous practice of soring. The Tennessee Walking Horse barn (which is suspiciously off limits) is where the cruelty takes place. This barn will never attract legitimate riders because we will not and do not condone the horrendous horse abuse that takes place in the big lick community. Please do research and look at the photos of the horses legs posted online; research Soring. You will never ride here.
very well taken care of farm took my grandchildren there to see the horses could not have been treated any better went out of there way to make us feel wonderful kids had a blast thanks for taken time out with us
