I was at Parkside 5 years ago and I simply cannot fault the treatment I received. The staff were incredible and faultless. I cannot thank the staff involved with my treatment and care enough.

All good except paying for treatment. Wait for ages on a line then leave a voice message and then no one phoned me back. Second time to be fair I did get a call back.
Agency nurses ignore requests for pain relief. My bed was moved to other rooms, twice in four days, without any discussion with me. I requested to see the Sister in charge, on numerous occasions, because I was not receiving the care I needed. Overall, very poor management but great consultants.
Decent medical care, but truly bizarre, being a private hospital, how the staff are far ruder than the NHS (nothing awful, just a general sense of annoyance and condescension) - I generally always dread my interactions with this place!
Parkside Hospital offers a wide range of diagnostic services with the latest imaging systems to ensure rapid access and high levels of comfort and safety.
The staff were all really friendly and made it a less stressful experience. Would recommend Parkside!
I recently had a cataract operation on both my eyes but not at the same time. The first one was in April this year and the second in May. On both occasions I didn t experience any pain or discomfort and was able to see perfectly after a couple of days. My consultant was a Mr. Paul Ursell and he explained what would happen during the 10 - 15 minute procedure . I suffered no after effects and would recommend the operation to anyone suffering from cataracts. Parkside Hospital were I had it done were excellent in taking care of you and provided all that was necessary. Alan Brace
I saw Dae kim for an ENT issue a while ago. We discussed an eventual MRI scan. He said it was not necessary but he would be happy to take care of the referral if I decided to have one. He advised to ring his secretary - who never picks up the phone nor returns calls and never answers emails on time as you would expect from a private healthcare.
In the end she emailed me saying that she will remind him; she reminded him and than, silence.
This has got to be the worst private hospital in England. I am a self paying patients who visited the hospital on the 17th of March where the receptionists are extremely rude, I saw a Mr. Paul Carter who was supposed to carry out a mere smear test, during the appointment he was very inappropriate. He carried out a biopsy and I was informed I would get the results in 1 week.
If you are a self pay patient be very careful with costs not being transparent at this hospital.
I needed to pay for my own treatment as appointments with NHS were extremely delayed by 6 months due to Covid.
I checked the doctor's reviews on a separate website and these were spot on, unluckily did not check the hospital's so hopefully who ever reads this finds it useful.
Good Drs and Nurses however be prepared to run between desks and keep asking questions with bunch of papers thrown at you in your hands and no clue what's next.......the four stars are for the consultants and nurses which are really good...The desk staff approach and hospital in general can improve a lot
