Just had my first hair cut in 18 months. Thank you April I love it. I felt very safe and it was a real treat after shielding for so long.

My review from August 2020, which I believe got deleted: "Given that your salon had incredible reviews on Google I expected a decent haircut. I also chose a senior stylist hoping that this should mean that the person had enough experience to do a decent haircut. I showed the stylist a few photos of the hair styles I liked. We agreed to leave the main length of the hair (about 10-12cm)and just reshape it in the back( I asked for an undercut). The stylist then cut off my hair in the back to about 1-2cm and said I now had a 'bob' shape (1-2 cm 'bob'). I couldn't see anything during the proces and was only showed the final result for a few seconds at the end. I didn't realise how bad it was until I got to the car and could properly check it in the mirror." Still waiting for my hair to grow back (4 months later). Please do not try to delete my review, it is honest. I am still deeply disappointed.

Aoife cut my hair earlier in the year. She s a lovely girl but very cack handed. My haircut is incredibly wonky. I ve had my hair cut twice since and I m still waiting for the much shorter pieces cut in to grow out. She really pulls your hair down and then cuts which is what creates the uneven haircut. Maybe go back to college and get some fresh training.

I have just returned from visiting Wilson s Hairdressing and as usual, I am very pleased with the outcome. I have been a customer for approximately thirty years and I can honestly say that I am always pleased with the result. Audrey has kept her salon up to date with modern trends, whilst not forgetting to cater for us oldies and the different age range of her staff, allows her to do this.
With regards to the Covid outbreak, as expected, Audrey has risen to the challenge. The same person dealing with you throughout your appointment; screens dividing chairs; disposable face masks as well as shields worn by the staff; sanitisation as soon as a chair becomes free; and a treat of coffee in disposable cups. But most importantly, the finished result - excellent.
I forgot to mention that on entering the salon, your temperature is taken!

I've been visiting Wilsons for over 15 years and always found the service of very high standard. Audrey and her team are extremely professional and always aim to please. They are always keen to look after you and style your hair appropriately (trying to keep me young looking even though the clock is ticking!!). I highly recommend them and personally wouldn't go anywhere else.

I visited Wilson's yesterday and felt safe. Had temperature taken on arrival. Plenty of hand sanitizer around &clients nicely spread out for social distancing. All staff wearing PPE. Ellie did a great job with my hair,will definitely visit again,highly recommend.

Amazing hairdressers. First visit in over a year and it was worth it. Lovely massaging chairs and Aoife was super lovely, she really took her time with me to understand what I wanted and worked with me and my hair (it's a bit wild and curly). I left the salon feeling absolutely fabulous with some handy hints and tips. I was swishing my hair all the way home!! Would have given more stars if I could.
