Wilshire Country Club Review

I can't say that I was all that impressed with any major part of the grounds. Just inside the gates the lights and trees were pretty but I was expecting beautifully kept grounds and greenery galore. Instead, what I saw was a dry golf course, nobody playing and almost no staff around either. I don't know if it was I that felt uncomfortable or if it was the few people that I crossed paths with who were uncomfortable with my being there. Either way, I got a kinda strange vibe and just did not feel welcome at the club at all. I'm sure the golf course is probably suffering from this strange weather that we have been having but if I am supposed to be impressed by the landscaping, this was NOT what I had in mind.

Leaving an event at 10pm on a Friday. Counted at least 6 RATS scurrying from the building. Will never attend an event there again. REPULSIVE!

It is a beautiful place with amazing food and 5 star quality all around.

Great course. Wonderful staff. Beautiful locker rooms. Beautiful Clubhouse. We were there for a LPGA event, and had a great time with Press Credentials. We were able to get an inside look at the clubhouse and the entire facility. Really seems to be a great club if you are given the chance to play or to become a member. I would highly recommend trying to visit, and trying to play a round of golf here.

This place is absolutely huge, tear it down and make a giant public park with bike trails and stuff.

Pretty cool experience ..... considering we were only on business for valet service

This space should be given to the city of LA for public use. LA needs more parks!

Course is always in fabulous shape. Tournament was fun. Shamble format was perfect. Caddy was a bit full of himself though.

This is one of the more pretentious places to blow your money along Wilshire that doesn't come with a blowing type job from someone else in return just to start the experience off... Thay is unless you are one to indulge in such activities of give and take and if that is the person you are then just talk to Chap behind the bar and he'll square you up and get you feeling something kinda normal in no time.
