The Physical Therapy Department at Wills Memorial is extraordinary. I have been through three joint replacements in the past three-and-a-half years (two knees, one shoulder) and the therapists there made my recoveries not just successful, but outstanding. My doctors are especially impressed with the range of motion and strength I now have as a result of the therapy I received at Wills Memorial. I can't imagine anyone being any better.

I came into the ER with an allergic reaction (Hives). I asked the attendant at the ER desk how much it would cost to be seen and she gave me the option of being signed in as an "Non-emergent Screening". She said it would be $50 dollars due today and if the physician agreed it to be non-emergent he would write me a prescription if needed, I would pay $50, and be on my way. I asked about other charges and she said that was it. I agreed to the $50 and was seen. I was seen by Dr. Robert Williams and he asked if I wanted the $50 or $550 dollar deal (jokingly). As I left, I paid the $50 and I asked if that was all of the charges and the woman at the ER desk said it was. About 8 weeks later I get a bill from the physicians company for $575. I call them and explain what was said. They said I would have to call the ER, the ER said I would have to call the hospitals billing department, and so on........ I ended up having to pay this charge because no one would return my calls from the hospitals billing department and the physicians company wanted their money. My husband talked to Dr Williams personally on the telephone and Dr. Williams said there should not have been another bill from the physicians company. I talked to one person in the ER and she just said I was put in as an ENT but I would have to talk to billing. TOO BAD SO SAD!!! I would have gone to a Med-Trends. Just a warning, do not take a verbal quote, get it in WRITING! With that said, Dr. Williams and the nurse on duty that evening were very professional, caring, and pleasant.
My husband and I we staying at a Sate Park for our 25th wedding anniversary and of all things I got sick. After two days of internet searching we found this little hospital. Let me tell you. This is the cleanest hospital I have ever been to. The staff was super nice and went above and beyond to take care of me.
The entire staff, from people doing lawn care to the Dr's on call refer to this place as "ours", uses words like "we" and "us" and seemingly take pride in everything they do here. It's clean, the nurses and techs are professional and are thoroughly involved in patients recovery and well being. Broadway Joe Hardy and the ladies of Physical Therapy are without a doubt good as they come!
I found a hidden gem at the Wills Memorial Cafe! Excellent food! Wonderful desserts! Friendly atmosphere!! I go 3 times a week! Very affordable as well!
Wills Memorial Hospital saved my life and the life of my infant son when I went into premature labor. I am so grateful to have this hospital in our small town! They are a blessing!
While at Clark's Hill Lake, I had an accident and was taken to Wills Memorial Hospital which is the closest facility to Lincolnton, Georgia. I was given excellent medical attention including an x-ray and a prescription. Everyone at the hospital was professional and helpful.
This is the slowest, longest waiting hospital I've ever been in! To just see a doctor; which may be only one, you'll have to wait over an hour! The good thing about my visit was that the nurse and front desk was nice.
If I could leave 0 stars I would. No one cares about the patients. Their standard of care does not follow what other major hospitals do. Wanted to admit over night for a broken leg! Didn t even register phone numbers for us in the ER. Got a $400 bill from them and didn t even see a doc. Piss poor. PISS. POOR.
