I have been working as a student transport driver in the Noordwijk region for a month and I really enjoy it.
I enjoy driving and socializing with people.
Because I drive a fixed group of children, I build a bond with them and get to know them better.
Of course they are sometimes rowdy and rebellious, but I can handle that well, after all they remain children.
So far I still manage to be on time so that the children don't have to wait.
I hope to be able to do this work for a long time, if possible with more hours.

Ze houden goed rekening met je wensen. Het werk is echt leuk en afwisselend. Prima bussen om mee te rijden. Alleen jammer dat ik geen automaat heb maar daar heb ik niet om gevraagd dus dat kunnen ze niet weten. Ik hoop hier nog vele jaren te kunnen werken.

I find this service anything but safe, when picking up and even bringing children they just park themselves on the footpath, on the corner of the street, if you want to pass with children, pram, walker, wheelchair, ... that is not possible , you really have to get in between and you don't see what's going on on the road. Incapable drivers. Looks like they got their driving license in Assen Traffic Park. Continuously cut people off, drive quickly through red, do not know what a stop sign means and what the right of way rules are. Having to hit the brakes a few times to avoid an accident with these guys. Organization does not respond to emails and you are not taken seriously by telephone.

I really enjoy picking up children and young people in the morning and taking them to school. And in the afternoon I bring them back home. Nice to hear all their stories that they experience at school.

School transport transferred to Willemsen de Koning with effect from the new school year. Never had any problems with previous carrier and always short communication lines. The municipality awarded Willemsen de Koning the transport through the professional approach, not on the basis of rates that are higher than with the current provider, we were told on the information evening. A relationship manager was present at this information evening who, after an introductory discussion about ISO certificates, an app and the quality of the transport, also made some commitments if we were to receive further information about the further course of events. We would receive information about the app in week 32, after several phone calls in week 35. Our child registered with the wrong name at the wrong address. Yes, the municipality did not provide the information correctly. Fairly different with a surname that is rare. Week 34 we would receive a letter with information, after many calls an email with information. The driver would come in week 35 (the last week of school holidays) to get acquainted and bring another leaflet (which is protocol at Willemsen de Koning), but after several times trying to reach our "regular" contact person does not happen. Called, 18 minutes on hold: there will be a raid driver ...

This company has extreme problems with student transport with as icing on the cake today that they had lost a van for 2 hours with our 4 year old son and 4 other toddlers (the journey is normally 20 minutes)! The driver navigated from paper and had no telephone or other communication and is not the only one! Total negligence, a nasty organization!

The guidance has been excellent from the time of application. A.o. through excellent training, courses and a mentor driver. After my exam at the CBR I have been driving my route independently every day for a month now. Of course, sometimes unexpected things happen that can be difficult. Everyone who is on the road a lot will have their own experiences. Of course, this also makes the profession of driver varied. But I can only say that, if necessary, there is excellent guidance from the base. The contact with the children and parents is good and fun and contributes to a nice job. Willemsen de Koning has certainly lived up to my positive expectations so far.

I have been a driver for WDK in Student Transport since September 2020. A very nice challenge and a pleasant working atmosphere.
Because:
1) a mentor helps with the induction, answers questions and gives instructions to ensure that the induction period runs as smoothly as possible
2) the business school offers a lot of information and training on 'transport with care'. The information is presented in a contemporary manner and is relevant.
3) it is fun to ride with children and give them the opportunity to go to school. By means of coloring pictures and pencils make the ride even more enjoyable and make it easier for children to obey the rules on the bus.
4) WDK goes to great lengths to offer a modern fleet.
