I visited on the anniversary on Lady Di s death. It was a touching and sombre Sunday. Had tea and cake afterwards though :)

Great place to see while in London. Allowed to take pics inside.
Absolutely stunning Kensington sunken gardens and surrounds are breathtaking and open to the public. A lovely way to spend an afternoon
Didn't go inside because of the hefty price of admission. But it was free to walk around the yard and Sunken Garden. Also had a cuppa with Meghan, so no complaints
Immaculately kept gardens and buildings, well worth a visit. Its a 10 minute walk up from the Albert Hall but worth it to see a bit of Hyde Park, along with the squirrels and wildlife that lives there.
If visiting with children, don't forget the Princess Diana Park on the North side of the Palace, it's surprisingly large and very well maintained
Loved it here. Beautiful gardens and intelligent staff!
Loved this beautiful palace and gardens. Do wonderful things for local schools on the grounds. Was worth the walk
The palace is so nice to look at. We didn t go inside as it was after hours, but the view was enough for us! You can walk around pretty much the entire place and the gardens are so nice. So much space to walk around!
Absolutely loved our tour of Kensington Palace. Highly recommended if you're in to British Royal History. Was nice seeing Princess Diana's dress on display.
Home for young Royal family. +-$25 pounds entrance fee (adult).
Nice visit.
Situated at the lovely Kensington Garden, the palace offers one a sneak peak into the lives of royals in the past. Charming atmosphere. We went to see the Princess Diana: fashion icon exhibit during our trip and the gowns were exquisite.
Pretty small inside, 19 pounds to go inside is not really worth it...
Kensington Palace was a sight to see. It was a beautiful area that has gardens everywhere. It is a very tourist and local attraction. Many locals come to have social conversations, walk the dog, run, walk, or just feed the birds, and ducks. It is an experience every tourist should visit if you come to London and Hyde Park. Hyde Park is where Kensington Palace is on. It sits on the westside of the park. This park is huge so make sure you have walking shoes on... You will thank me later! It is alot of action going on. But, the nature aspect of the trip is phenomenal educational background for kids, young adults, and adults. MaLa Travel Guide from a locals point of view has tested and approved Kensington Palace as being a must see place in London. You heard it here first! When MaLaSpeaks Everyone Listens!
Very informative staff and full of surprises on tour. Fun and interactive.
Really nice staff, very interesting stuff, worth the money
I love the palace and the history there. The gardens are beautiful and worth your time after touring the palace.
Is a beautiful place with many animals in the garden
Kensington Palace is a lovely place to visit. They have wonderful exhibitions that teach you about the history of the Palace and very friendly professional staff. There is also a very nice cafe and giftshop there and the garden are beautiful.
What a brilliant place. Such a beautiful building, beautiful gardens and a real statement to our past!
It was a nice place. We can spend few hours with family.
A great park, good for dogs. Lots of room to roam and lovely gardens.
So informative and it looks like a fairytale inside, every corner has so much history. Ended up taking some amazing pictures and learning so much.
Nice one.
Please find below review.
Kensington Palace has a history linked to William and Mary and to Victoria and Albert. It does not have the grandeur of Hampton Court as it was more of a home to its royal occupants, than other palaces, including in recent time Princesses Margaret and Diana.
There is a slight feeling that the curators do not quite not know what to do with the Palace - it had a major refurbishment a few years ago but most of the exhibition initiatives have now been removed; with the good going with the bad. There are different routes to the Queen's Apartments, the King's Apartments and Queen Victoria's rooms, which is slightly confusing. The key link here is with fashion and the gallery which shows changing exhibitions of dresses worn by HM the Queen, Princess Margaret and Princess Diana are always popular. The fashion theme continues through the other areas with white mannequins and dresses worn by Queen Victoria. More could be made of this, given the curators have access to a huge collection of court dress.
The interpretation of the history of the Palace and of the exhibits is confused; in the Queen's side it is by poster-stands; in Queen Victoria's apartments, it is by booklets which are only in English and tedious to read through. This is basic and other places do it better - it also ignores that 90% of the visitors on the day of my visit were from other countries - other places provides booklets in different languages or audio-visual guides.
Beautiful palace, the former home of the late Diana, Princess of Wales & now the London base for Prince William & Catherine, Duke & Duchess of Cambridge. We went to see the exhibition of Queen Victoria - absolutely excellent, so informative & interesting - so much to see & the exhibition is so well laid out. Absolutely unmissable. Shop has lots of choice for all pockets & the cafe nice too. Don't miss seeing the sunken garden a lovely reflective spot in memory of the late Princess of Wales.
I loved the outside garden with its unique grass and lovely trees. Great for taking pictures and selfies.
Spectacular evening seeing a different side of the palace
went to see Diana's dresses exhibition - lovely place to visit
Thoroughly enjoyed my visit yesterday. Lost myself totally in the palace that is steeped in British and Royal history. I was completely absorbed with the art, decor, paintings and found seeing some of the young Queen Victoria's clothes, sketches and toys mesmerising. My highlight were seeing the tiara's on display especially Victoria's Emerald and diamond parure. What a great way to escape all troubles of the world for a couple of hours.
What not to like and specially when weather is kind too...
Such a great place to visit! We really enjoyed all of the details that we got to see inside and outside of the palace! The well preserved clothes, art work, toys, rooms and gardens are amazing to see! We were a little rushed, but we had a full day to see so many things. I want to go back to see more of the palace and take my time. We got our entrance with The London Pass, which got us to the skip the line line. The gift shop is really nice too! Such an amazing time at the palace!
Very nice palace, both old, historical, and also new artifacts and rooms. One gets to understand better the English monarchy.
How fun that this old ship has been converted to a multi-level bar restaurant. You have to get your drinks and food ordered and then sit down. Relaxing. Cool. I like it!Went here with family and friends. Really good burger and great views of the river/embankment. I would definitely recommend to visitors. Good food in Central London at a reasonable price in a great location.
Fascinating glimpse into the world of the young Queen Victoria and other royals.
Loved the tour through Kensington Palace, especially Princess Diana's exhibition, it's so impressive. The garden is beautiful.
Nice historical place. Liked queen Victoria part the most.
Absolutely fabulous visit topped off by the Princess Diana dresses, I was also very interested to see references to Spitalfields and Huguenot silk weavers going back beyond Queen Victoria. My wife has mobility issues we found the staff were all fantastic
Only takes an hour or so to go round, but worth it. No crowds at all October 2020
Beautiful place! Try the classic american ice cream, it's really good!
Great piece of history with some amazing original jewels. Free tours as well. Would recommend with the london travel pass.
A small beautiful palace, surrounded by garden and Park.
Must watch place for the historic and fashion lovers.
What a beauty! I went a day before princeces Diana's death anniversary. You can see the entrance gate in the pictures.
Kensington palace
A royal aboard of king queen and cute rooms queen Victoria ( her young life) it's included in London pass and the rooms have room guides and volunteers around to explain you everything about the rooms and their lifestyle. The interesting fact is the house is currently also used by the royal family. Must see rooms are the room where the games are kept which were played by the king and obviously Victoria's rooms are very cute especially her doll house.
Tip: take some time and go atleast two hours as you would love to spend some time by the lake. As the weather is always amazing there. And the staff is really helpful and always smiling
The palace is okay but the garden outside and the park is lovely! One of my favorite memories of UK.
Lovely little Palace if you have a couple of hours to spare. Thought there would be more gardens to visit but what they had was lovely. Don't forget 241 offers if you travel by train.
What can I say? I was telling stories to families there today, musicians were playing traditonal.Georgian music and Queen Caroline was in attendance. A jam packed day for all!
Reallly good place to come would recommend it for everybody and kids
great place. great staff. great food. everything is just fantastic!
Beautiful.....Enjoyed seeing palace and Diana fadhion meusium...
Beautiful area! Such a great place to spend a sunny day! The palace itself is nice maybe try booking entrance in advance.
Stunning Park with lots going on.. dogs and children running around without a care in the world just wonderful.
Nice place to spend few hours enjoying the afternoon sun... If rain don't come. Having a cuppa is always nostalgic in garden setting.
Lacking air conditioning in most rooms. Hot summer days are suffocating.
@kensingtonpalace is a royal residence set in Kensington Gardens, in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea in @london England . Get 1 hour before closing time to get in. I was 30 min ahead and couldn't get in. But the park was so good
Pretty view. Lovely hidden tunnel path with beautiful view
Very interesting and good guides telling the stories
Nice and reccomended for people who are interested in Royal British history, but I don't think the expirience justifies the price.
I love this place so much! Have been a member for a few years now and cant see myself ever cancelling. The new Victoria exhibitions are amazing and very much worth checking out. I love that they change things up so often when I visit see something new. The Diana exhibition is no longer there but her memory is still well kept with a beautiful pink gown of hers as you walk in. Also a big thank you to the staff who helped us get in when we forgot our membership pass! A great place for any history enthusiast!
Regents Park has been a great experience for us. Clean, updated, roomy apartment in a safe neighborhood. Can't beat the location near dining and shopping, and down the block from the Vienna Metro. The staff (Francesca, Alex, Michael) is always eager to help. We had a sensitive smoke detector that went off when we made toast. Maintenance came an hour after notifying them, and replaced it. There is plenty of parking around our building. We appreciate the Package Concierge (like Amazon lockers ). There's an exercise room, computer room, pool, and free coffee station too. What I like best is the nice, clean apt, quiet neighbors, location, and feeling of safety.
If you're nearby, do stop in for a tour. The cafe was a nice place to grab a wine and enjoy the patio also!
Royal residence, not as grand as Buckingham Palace but worth a visit
Fabulous! Enjoyed our afternoon tea with a lovely bottle of champagne. Our waitress was excellent.
It was a very rainy day so we decided to go to Kensington Palace. It was an interesting experience. There were no guided or audio tours so we investigated at our own pace. It was ok for a rainy day. I especially like the Princess Diana section.
Very easy process to enter (just make sure to print your tickets if you buy online in advance - its cheaper too!) Loved the little guide books in each room to give you more details and information. Very well set out and interesting!
Very nice palace in Hyde Park. There are many birds and swans in the lake.
Stunning building surrounded by breathing natural beauty!
21 pounds per person to see a few empty rooms and two of Queen Victoria's dresses? If you want to see a proper royal residence go visit Buckingham or Sundringham.
This is a nice place, with beautiful gardens. Nice to take good pictures with your family. You can have lunch there, for a reasonable price.
Very good service and delicious food in unusual surroundings albeit rarher dark for me. I can hardly read the menu. Does the menu ever change?
Beautiful Garden, quite, but loads of people strolling around. Did not go into the palace, however we stopped and had coffee and scones. Oh yeah.
Wonderful place for a late afternoon walk and enjoy the cool air and the surrounding as the sun sets. There's also a beautiful pond in the middle of the garden or park. Beautiful swans and ducks swimming around. The park can be quite busy nearing the evening with lots of people coming out for a light jog. It's also a place where kids can enjoy feeding the swans and ducks. Definitely a nice place to visit in London. :)

Beautiful property going through a series or renovations and garden reworks. It's definitely worth the train ride to make the trip from central London. If you have the time and budget, definitely do the afternoon tea service.
Beautiful place to visit can spend hours looking at all the fantastic portraits and antiques
You will see the extraordinary footage of Queen Victoria. Her jewelry, love letters to Alpert. Her small outfits. So much to see
Too pricey - we didn't enter. The grounds are lovely though
Very nice and quiet place, lots of tourists tho but there is plenty space for everyone. Sitting area, nice gardens and fountain, lake close to it with lots of birds around. Coffee bar inside the palace and the museum ready for you anytime
The grounds and garden were fun to explore! We liked that the park closes at 4:30 to give the Kensington palace residents some privacy. Was super fun to see dogs playing off leash in the park as well!
The history of Queen Victoria in a beautiful place.

Kensington Palace has a rich and fascinating history that spans over 400 years. At WILDWORKS, we're dedicated to providing an unforgettable experience for all visitors who come through our doors. We offer a range of tours and exhibitions that showcase the palace's rich history and provide insight into what life was like for its former residents.
One popular exhibition at Kensington Palace is "Victoria Revealed," which explores the life of Queen Victoria through her own words and personal items on display. Visitors can see everything from her wedding dress to her childhood toys as they learn about one of Britain's most beloved monarchs.
Another must-see attraction at Kensington Palace is "Diana: Her Fashion Story." This exhibition showcases some of Princess Diana's most iconic outfits throughout her life as well as exploring how she used fashion as a way to communicate with people around the world.
In addition to these exhibitions, we also offer guided tours led by expert historians who will take you on a journey through time as they share stories about the palace's past residents and events that took place within its walls.
But WILDWORKS isn't just about showcasing historical artifacts - we're also committed to preserving them for future generations. That's why we have an extensive conservation program in place that ensures all items on display are properly cared for so they can be enjoyed by visitors for years to come.
