This was a really cool exhibit. I'm glad to hear that these animals are all basically rescue animals who are rehabbing before entering the wildlife again. It serves as a rehabilitation center for animals and a free zoo!
Lots of animals to see. Fun and quiet. Peaceful. Love it here
They added 3 grizzly bears, and built a HUGE enclosure, with a sky walk for them to go back and forth from shelter to play area, the raptor exhibits are top noch, wolves, elk, bison, deer, etc. ALSO, bring a bucket of worms and pole for some panfish action in the upper, and lower ponds.
Very nice place for being donation run. Had a lot of fun with the family.
The zoo was perfect for a fun morning with kids. The animals were very active and fun to watch. My kids enjoyed reading the info about the different animals and learning something new about each. The one big bummer was that they are doing construction so it made it a little difficult to navigate through, was a little loud and dusty in spots.
Awesome little place to see animals not able to be released into the wild.
Not a huge zoo but constantly expanding and there is no charge(so please donate). :)
Great place to take the whole family! Donations appreciated to walk through and see the animals. They usually hold quite a few events at this location.
Great place to take your kids at let them blow off some steam.
The rotary lights are a fun Christmas tradition. Beautiful to walk through.
Really not worth going through. ..they have animals you can see in your back yard...deer.
I enjoying coming here with my daughter when I am in Marshfield. The new bear exhibit is really nice and there are beautiful seating areas, there is also a large playground for the kids.
Great zoo! It's not huge, bit well worth the time! Awesome bear's!
Been go here for many years always changing .friendly and keeps clean.
Great Clean place to sit by yourself or bring the what family
Great free little zoo. The kids liked watching the bears
FREE! This zoo was great, bears, wolves, eagles, cougars, & many more smaller animals. Very clean & nice walking paths. Also next to a great playground for the kids to play on.
Nice little place to take the kids not too far from home
Was very nice..looking forward to completion of the building projects..
Great small zoo that is a lot of fun to walk through. They have a new bear exhibit that is is very interesting.
There is not a whole lot of stuff to do here. There are very few animals to look at.
Always love coming here, never very crowded and quiet peaceful time
We visit many times a year and always leave with a smile!
Wonderful for all ages bi5t especially for families
Empty exhibits, no flowers, no wildlife. Needs more animals in the exhibits. Would not recommend to friends. Waste of time. Main attraction bears and they were not there. No staff around to ask questions.
Fantastic zoo and a great asset to the community. Impressive facilities for a community of this size. Wildwood Station and the picnic areas can be rented for reasonable rates.
Nice zoo, and park.
Excellent light display around the holidays!!
Lot of things to do. Fishing in the ponds, walking around the zoo and playing on the playground.
My last visit was to see the Christmas Lights. Quite delightful and also exciting for young children. Every year they add more to it, so if you haven't seen it in recent years you will enjoy it again. They accept monetry and/or food donations to help with expenses and area food pantries. This makes Wildwood a year round attraction.
Just enough to see to keep youngsters interested. Nice park with play area.
The drive through path is really an awesome feature.
Very nice zoo for a small town. Free to visit with nice park and playground adjacent.
Totally awesome Christmas light show. Highly recommend to see.
Very nice zoo for the size of the city, the bear exhibit is amazing!
Nice place to visit. The animals are hard to see in cold weather
Great place for the kids you have to love the bears
Great place to go for any age. Not a huge walking distance to see the animals which is nice. They also have a great playground for children. Nice restroom available next to pavilion and playground.
It's a nice little zoo and it seems like they are expanding the enclosures. They are all just too small right now and it's really sad to see. But, seeing Kodiak bears was really cool!
Love going here with my kids. During the winter, the lights are amazing. They do a great job getting it done and I always looks great. During the "zoo" season, they have a good range of animals, and the knew bear exhibit is huge and the bears are awesome.
A very nice small, free zoo (there are donation boxes for people to help out). The bear enclosure is quite large, and uniquely designed. They have cougars (the big cat area is currently being updated, so we didn't get to see the bobcat or lynx), wolves (good size enclosure with lots of hollow logs they like to run through, they're very playful), foxes, and several large birds. Lots of flowers for butterflies, bees, and colorful beetles. A couple of pond areas, usually filled with ducks, geese, and seagulls. They have a couple sitting areas off the main path, but it looks like those may have taken damage from the recent storms.
All-in-all, a very nice place to visit. A good place for children. Plan on spending around an hour. There's also a park with a playground just outside the gates, and ice cream shop at the corner by the main entrance.
I love the huge new area for the cougars even though I didn't see any and of course the beautiful bear area. I cry for the wolves in their small area and the poor little screech owl.
A small zoo but a great place to walk around. It's attached to a nice park. We brought a lunch and the family made a day of it. The cost for entering the park is a suggested donation
I like to take my kids here as often as I can they enjoy it and you can't beat the price....free
They have got a lot of animals here, it is a good park and zoo for kids. I am sorry that they haven't any monkeys though. When I was a kid, they also let you feed the ducks and geese, kind of miss that too.
What a fun place to visit. Our granddaughter is still talking about the Bobcat she named Bob and the Kodiak bears that put on quite a show at the viewing window. We were able to get some great pictures.
Grandchildren enjoyed our trip to the zoo. Perfect for families
