I really enjoy their pizza, being a resident of Chicago I believe I have tasted every deep dish pizza imaginable and hands down they have the best deep dish in the city. I recommend all of my out of town family and friends to eat here whenever they are looking for Chicago style pizza

I came here in 1986 and have been craving the pizza ever since. It is bigger than I remember but the pizza is still the same mouth watering goodness that I remember. If you haven't come in yet, you should.

This restaurant was recommended in various medias by various celebrities. So we follow their advices. We went there at 12.00 am . There was no queue. Good luck for us cause when we went out the queue was very long.

The deep crunch pizza is their specialty. So we tired two small plates which end up too much for our group of four. It may be because we eat too less. The pizza may take long time to cook. Be aware.

The foods are great . But the better impressions are on services. We would definitely recommend for anyone who visit Chicago to put this place on their starred lists.

Awesome! We sat at the bar and were thrilled with the service and food. The bartender was so friendly and very personable. She was very happy to be there and customer oriented. You could just tell by her attitude. She loved Chicago and sharing some bomb pizza with patrons! Will recommend to other travelers for sure.

We had buffalo wings which were great and followed it up with a small deep dish Chicago Fire pizza which was more than enough for two. Check them out!

The pizza was alright, but not everything it was tooted to be. I had a thin crust pizza with hot sausage. The toppings were great, a little too much cheese for my liking though. My pie had peppers on it, which saved the day. What lost it for me was the crust. The crust wasn't very flavorful and tasted a bit too greasy. Perhaps I'm picky, but I like a light crust where you taste the bread not just the day used to cook it. Still searching for that famous Chicago pie...

Worst service I've had in a long time - maybe ever. Waiter (Humerto) was super slow, he didn't clear plates, he never checked back, and if we didn't flag him down I don't think we would have ever seen him. The beer sat on the bar so long, it was covered in condensation.

Our server, Jose was top notch!
We had a party of 14 and he was fantastic! Attentive, accurate, caring, funny, great with the kids and always there when needed!
Ask for Jose... He won't disappoint.

We were seated almost immediately, but then waited a good 20+ minutes just to place our order.
The deep dish pizza was okay, but not the best I have had. However, I would recommend the mozzarella sticks. They were crispy, seasoned, and served with a marinara.

You can also get takeout here.

Way to expensive for a few pounds of grease logged think crust, barely any sauce, and previously frozen veggies. Not worth the 90 minute wait. I d give it zero stars but it s not an option. You re better off wasting money somewhere else rather than buying a Chicago style deep grease pizza

Great staff and an awesome atmosphere but the pizza isn't the same as when I was younger. The crust has changed. Chicago Police informed me that Lou Malnati's is a much better tasting pizza. We'll see...

Yum! My friend and I have a rivalry between Gino's East and Giordano's. He's Gino's, I'm Giordano's. On a recent trip to Chicago, we visited both places. While I'll never admit it to him, I'm a convert; the pizza is better at Gino's. Be prepared to wait for your order; a small pizza can take about an hour. But believe me, it's well worth the wait!

The famous pizzeria thanks to the special pizza they invented. Pizza in a pan. Almost as thick as lasagna. It takes almost 45 minutes to get ready. There are also minute pizzas. Menu filled with meat, vegetables. There are appetizers but even the most hungry will not finish this huge pizza. In the afternoon, the air was blowing for hours, and prices were falling by almost half.
There is a special menu from which to choose the dishes, including drinking.
The restaurant is right next to the Marcus Neiman, the famous fashion store on Michigan Avenue.
All the interior walls of the restaurant are decorated with the names of everyone who was there. The waiters wait for an automatic order and give you Teapacks, so you can start.

Gino's East is my favorite deep dish pizza, followed by Uno/Duo, then Lou Malnati's then Girodano's, then Pequod's.

Try the sausage patty deep dish. Every bite is full is sausagey-goodness. It's the best

Good experience for a tourist. It's iconic with its writing all over the walls, chairs, etc. The pizza is great for a first time trying Chicago-style pizza but I wouldn't say it's the best in Chicago.
Good service, great location, decent pizza.

First time in Chicago and was told I have to try Gino's. They were not mistaken. I got the Veggie Chicago style pizza and it was amazing. Flakey crust, good amount of veggies and extremely filling. A small will definitely feed 2 people. Slices are very thick and expand in your stomach. Be warned, pizzas take 45min - 1 hour to bake and they warn you before you order.
