Firstly the space acquired is perfect for the marketing minds and artistic displays that are hosted. I love the many web development pages I've found created by staff and community contributions made by this company. Good things to come, I'm sure.

It's not easy to get into the inner bowels of the building (unless you have a pal who works there), but anybody can walk into the gallery on the street level and check out the rotating art shows. Also, the giant plywood beaver on display is pretty cool and makes for a fun photo op. And there's a cool display of fun/quirky photos of many W+K employees on the wall behind the stairs.

I toured the Widen Kennedy space w my undergrad postmodern art course, the prof was tight with them, and it is hands down the coolest creative office space I have ever seen. Idk if anyone can get the kind of tour I did... But do your self a favor and try.

As an employer, they are very nice to work for. Benefits are good and the atmosphere is laid back. As a company, their ads are hilarious :D

The lower atrium is open to everyone for themed art exhibits so stop by if you are nearby! A secret quarter candy machine is by the elevators in the far wall of the room.

An incredible contemporary, collaborative structure - I love the "Wiedenisms" on the walls and the way the clients' brands are woven directly into the work spaces. W+K is a coveted place to work because it's truly a place where employees belong - employees have bought into the mission completely and are truly passionate and excited about the work they do. W+K is the "gold standard" in the creative industry.

About Wieden + Kennedy

Wieden + Kennedy: A Creative Powerhouse in the Advertising Industry

Wieden + Kennedy is a global advertising agency that has been creating some of the most memorable and impactful campaigns for over 35 years. With offices in Portland, New York, London, Amsterdam, Tokyo, Delhi, Shanghai and São Paulo, W+K has established itself as a creative powerhouse in the industry.

The company was founded in 1982 by Dan Wieden and David Kennedy with a vision to create advertising that would resonate with people on an emotional level. Their first big break came when they created the iconic "Just Do It" campaign for Nike in 1988. The campaign not only helped to establish Nike as a leading brand but also set a new standard for advertising.

Since then, W+K has worked with some of the biggest brands in the world including Coca-Cola, Old Spice, Honda and Airbnb. They have won numerous awards for their work including Cannes Lions Grand Prix awards and have been named Agency of the Year multiple times by Adweek.

What sets W+K apart from other agencies is their commitment to creativity and innovation. They believe that great ideas can come from anywhere and encourage their employees to think outside of the box. This approach has led to some truly groundbreaking campaigns such as Old Spice's "The Man Your Man Could Smell Like" which became an instant viral sensation.

Another key factor behind W+K's success is their ability to adapt to changing trends and technologies. They were one of the first agencies to embrace social media as a marketing tool and have continued to stay ahead of the curve with innovative campaigns such as KFC's "FCK" apology ad which went viral on Twitter.

Despite being one of the largest independent agencies in the world with over 1,500 employees globally, W+K maintains a startup mentality where everyone's ideas are valued equally regardless of seniority or job title. This culture fosters creativity and collaboration which ultimately leads to better work.

In addition to creating award-winning campaigns for clients, W+K also invests heavily in its own projects such as The Lodge - an experimental creative space where artists can collaborate on projects outside of traditional advertising mediums.

Overall,Wieden + Kennedy is more than just an advertising agency - it's a creative force that continues pushing boundaries within its industry while maintaining its core values since inception: creativity above all else!
