Whitehouse Hotel Review

Lovely, I stayed in a recently modernised room, good size gym to use. Menus have changed and don't seem to be as much for vegetarians but enough choice for the 2 day stay.

Loved the spa and the food. The staff are brilliant. The rooms are a little small and very warm.

Stayed here for work. Room was clean and well equipped. Gym was convenient but a little small. Mostly machines. Breakfast was good

City centre Hotel, easy walking to all Worcester delights. Good size comfortable well appointed rooms and bathrooms. Good breakfast menu and late bar. Communal spaces lack atmosphere

Lovely place for your Wedding, really nice people to talk to, and they meet all your needs

No cooked breakfast at buffet on day one of our visit.

Its not that bad as a hotel , the spa its accessible but i can get better if they invest and the gym its weak . But the service for clients . Its one of The best !!!

Lovely hotel and only five minutes walk to the city centre. My daughter had her wedding reception here several years back so it was full of fabulous memories. Very good breakfast too.

Used this hotel for the first time over a 2 week period for business meeting including accommodation for delegates. Food and accommodation was great and all staff were fantastic, nothing was too much
trouble. Ideally located too to enjoy Worcester. Thank you too to Sammy who helped organise the event with me. Would recommend and will use again.

Who puts on old flair .. Clean, very British. Breakfast poor, dinner except for the fries rather moderate. Centrally located, street at night a bit noisy.

Bot old and tired and the staff were grumpy but comfortable and homely room

Lovely place however food selection for the event was limited and food could have been nicer.

It would have had 4 but no Wi-Fi on the night i stayed. Parking is very limited might be worth reserving a place when booking.

Nice venue, beers are good prices considering it a hotel. I was at an event where we have decided 3 courses. Pate was okay the chicken was okay but the vegetables were like they've been microwave from frozen and tasted of nothing but water. Service was good. Keep the service but update the food..

Pros: Clean, spacious rooms, friendly floor cleaner, lovely breakfast which can be included into price, central location, car park. Cons: Quite stiff personnel at reception, the worst toilet I have ever seen in a hotel, had to flush up to 15 times to get it clean and had to argue with reception to get a toilet brush, no bum gun, uncomfortable bath tub for shower. Hotel is basic 3 star hotel, breakfast 4 stars but toilet pulls down the overall rating to 2.

Good hotel in centre of the city. Nice clean room, facilities, polite & helpful staff and top draw breakfast. Highlt recommend.

The bar is OK, on the expensive side for drinks but the atmosphere and people are very friendly.

Gym is very outdated, the equipment is rusty and not very well kept after, same with Sauna and swimming pool.

We recently stayed here for a wedding that was onsite. The staff was very pleasant and the accommodations were nice. The breakfast was plentiful, with several made to order options (check the card). WiFi was included for all guests, which was a nice plus.
Only draw back was the bedsprings were very noisy.

Room was unfortunately located near a fan outside on the roof so there was a fair bit of ambient noise in the room, but it wasn't too bad. The room has everything you need, bed a bit firm but I had a pleasant sleep. In a good location with everything nearby.

Very efficient check in room really good however, because at front of hotel was really noisy but with earplugs not so much of a problem. All staff fantastic very friendly and helpful. Breakfast all you could ask for. Would I return? Absolutely!!

Very poor for a 4 star hotel, will not be returning and rude staff, the receptionist Martino was rather abrupt and off putting when asking questions. Looked down on you and made me and my family feel unwelcome. The rooms itself are outdated and very thin walls mean you can hear anyone and everyone!

Hotel is well placed and easy to find. Room was nicely decorated. The bed and pillows seemed new but were not very comfortable. Noisy room on the front despite new double glazed windows. No mention of car parking charges when I booked over the phone.
Reading this back, it reads like a damning review but it was more than adequate for our stopover. We didn't use any of the facilities, which do sound rather good.

Pleasant hotel, clean tidy rooms and public areas, late night bar staff struggled with a liqueur coffee......more training needed!

Tidy and well managed. Polite helpful staff. Good parking . Central Worcester location. Restaurant / evening meal very good and buffet breakfast 'fantastic'. Have stayed on business visits to Worcester several times at the White House including weekend stayover.Highly recommended.

Nice venue ., Good food,but found drinks very expressive !! Whether that normal,not sure as don't go out drinking much .

Good location right be station and also close to all amenities. Considering it's central location you might assume parking is limited or non existent. Actually there is a good size car park around the back. Also close to a wetherspoons. Rooms are clean, only minor niggle is that the noise from the high street can be significant. Breakfast was decent.

Lovely hotel been here about 8 times this year and first time yesterday 21/12 I was spoken to very rudely by a member of staff as checked in at 3.15 a male staff member never saw b4 and hope I never do again

Hotel is in a perfect location for a lone traveller to be able to go out at night and not have to get a taxi to go back. It's an old building replete with sweeping staircase. There is a restaurant and a bar but I didn't use them as quite pricey. The room was lovely, quaint and quirky. The bed was super comfy and the shower was the best I'd ever used! Lovely place, would highly recommend.

Very nice rooms but other areas, such as stairways and corridors, could do with being done up.

Room not up to the standard I would expect, check in staff rude. Rest of staff were great good food.

We got married there on Sunday and the staff where amazing. They truly made our day. The three course meal was outstanding and the evening buffet was to die for. They honestly couldn't do enough for u. The rooms were really good sizes for the bride to get ready in. The morning break fast was buffet style and the bacon was thick cut, the sausage was local. The whole experience was amazing. Thank you to the team there. Anyone looking for a place to get married should look here.. five stars.

came here with my family on a weekend as we had a family birthday in the area,great hotel very clean ,nice facilities albeit busy,good staff and not a bad price ,only thing i could say could do with improving is the internet access and speed.

Service was excellent and food was excellent would definitely recommend it

We were pleasantly surprised with this hotel. We were reserved a parking space on arrival. The room we had was spacious and very clean. The buffet style breakfast was great and the girls on reception were very helpful. Really cannot fault anything about our stay at The Whitehouse Hotel, we will definitely use it again.

Excellent right in heart of town close to train station & amenities

I stayed in this hotel for four nights. It's an excellent hotel. I had a large room with a comfortable bed. The room was well equipped and very clean. They serve a very good buffet breakfast and really tasty food for dinner. All the staff were friendly and helpful. I'd happily stay here again.

Spent a weekend here in January. Really liked the vibe. Location is perfect: city centre. It has a spa which was included in the price: pool, sauna, jacuzzi and a steam room. We had a good time, though we were lucky that there were not that many people, I guess it can get a bit crowded in other times of the year.

Good location, staff so far all friendly. Car park is very expensive, room dated but very clean. Gym decent for a hotel but pool etc very dated and needing upgraded. The noise from seagulls on the roof day and night gets rather annoying, even if window is closed you can still hear them.

Decent enough hotel but no air con in rooms so in this weather uncomfortable.

Lovely function room, friendly and professional staff!

Felt it was over priced as room was fine but not special granted it was very clean with tea coffee ect, service was instructive but not friendly, the maid was knocking at 8:15 when check out was till 10 do felt I was being rushed to leave not what I wanted on my relaxing trip to Worcester

Everything about this hotel is first class. Really friendly and helpful staff. Any problem is sorted out immediately. Excellent value breakfast and the leisure facilities are great. Stayed from boxing day till Sunday and enjoyed every minute. Even the loud rude family that were there at the time couldn't dampen our spirits. Thanks to all staff. Happy New year .

The staff were very courteous, polite and helpful throughout the wake. Highly recommended.

I visited the gym. I found the gym to be relatively small, although has all the necessary equipment, it was all quite close, so had there been more than a few people in there it would have been difficult to use certain machines. The changing rooms were not nice and had broken benches. The pool and sauna were lovely, but again too small, more than a couple of people in the pool and it felt full.

Very convenient location for Worceater Foregate station and visiting the RHS Malvern Flower Show. Room was clean and comfortable and staff very friendly

hotel staff were not exactly polite, the rooms were reasonably clean but not exactly spotless. The breakfast was ok but again not amazing, and one of my pet hates is that the orange juice isnt acctually fruit juce more like squash. have yet to have an evening meal so hopefully this is better.

Nice spacious rooms for a single. Conviently located for Foregate St Station and City centre. Nice interior on ground floor with the grand stair case as the centre piece. Breakfast was OK. Only drawback and this is not the hotels fault was the near by University of Worcester student housing where could hear the anti social behaviour.
