Poor service in gym. Trainers not turning up for work. Staff not interested. I had two wasted visits. No-one in reception could be bothered to phone me and cancel my two pre-arranged inductions. I have taken my custom elsewhere. Seriously GRIPPED

We mainly use the swimming pool. There is a baby/toddler pool with a Jacuzzi and a big swimming pool. It isn't the deepest and there isn't a diving board but it's good for just swimming. The showers need to be improved as the water pressure drops as soon as there are 5 or 6 people taking shower at the same time. Overall though I recommend the pool.

A nice place. The staff seemed quite unfriendly though, very short with their answers and got more help from the general public who were great. There was a waiting list for the baby pool which we didn't want to wait for, so went in the main pool but they would not let us borrow any flotation devices, even though there were plenty. Other than that there were 3 pools, clean and well maintained. Seemed like a nice cafe and a soft play area (dry).

This review is for customer service only, which is appalling. I would be gobsmacked if the phone was answered on the first attempt and without waiting around for several minutes. It's a shame because if you would only answer your phone I would be able to give you my money. It's poor business sense to skimp on staff to this effect.

A great facility in Abingdon with a nice swimming pool, Gym, sports halls and Tennis courts.
It's undergoing a bit of renovation work at the moment, but don't let that put you off, this is a top class sports facility with loads of things to do.
My only grip about this place is that there are only 2 squash courts, which occasionally get re-used to host childrens clubs and other events - so book early

They are making the best of the COVID situation (although the "Better" App used for booking is pretty buggy).

Swimming is simple, wide lanes, limited people. Although if you like a lot of space and are conscious of being close to people without a mask avoid times when it is nearly fully booked (you can see how many spaces are left in the app). I can't comment on the gym or classes as not been.

Changing, showering and toilet facilities are limited, but to be expected I guess. All in all, I think they are doing the best they can.

Mixed review. A huge choice of classes and times. `The tennis instructors are great. The courts are very cold in the winter. The pool area is huge, there are two pools with various depths, great for teaching and playing. The instructors are engaged. However the water temperature is very chilly and some kids may not like. They have courts for basketball/badminton/general. That section is well heated. Signing up, changing, and cancelling classes is a bit of a nightmare. Front desk can't do it. You have to keep emailing a general contact until someone hopefully responds. So very dis-organised and admin people dont seem motivated after they have done the initial sign up.
