Truly an awesome place. The owner and staff are amazingly friendly and inviting. My three dogs can't get out of the car fast enough when we pull into the parking lot. There's lots of room to run and the kennel is always clean and well staffed. I travel a lot with my puppies and have sent my critters to several different doggie daycare/kennels over the years, but I will travel out of my way if possible to have them stay here.
My dog left this place with fleas!!! I was told he came with them, and when I tried to tell her he has a flea collar and takes meds to prevent it, she told me she didn t appreciate the way I was talking to her! (I didn t start using profanity until I received a second phone call after I paid for my dog to get fleas and said I would call the cops if I was called again) Done with this place. Don t risk taking your dog here!!!
We love them, it's my dog second home. The staff is amazing and he loves them. Very good place to take your pets, they treat them like family.

We have boarded our Jack Russell/Poodle mix there for a few days and then a week. She is happy to go back. We also have tried the day care a few times and will be using it again. She loves to see the people and animals who are there. We are using the training class at the present time and so far it is working great. . We also had her groomed there and the groomer did a great job. We can't say enough good things about this kennel.

I called Whispering Winds for a quick appointment for my Sons dog to get his nails done before the baby came home from the hospital tried several places and they were the only ones in a pinch would help me out without having to wait I went right over and they did a fantastic job I would recommend them very highly very friendly staff
We take our Boston terrier there for grooming and boarding. The staff is very competent and friendly. Will always recommend them for the job
This is our first time boarding our dogs and when we called them they were extremely rude! The girl even asked "what exactly do you want?" If she can be that rude to someone over the phone I can only imagine how they treat the animals. We will never take our dogs there and I definitely will be telling everyone I know how unprofessional they were!
The only kennel in the surrounding area that I trust with my fur babies besides Bradford Hills in Wexford which is very pricey next to Whispering Winds reasonable prices.
Best in the business. Never had one issue with taking our Dog their. They always take care of her and are very kind and friendly. The kennels we have used in the past I can not say the same thing. I would recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to take their dog to daycare for an overnight stay to consider Whispering Winds.

Great place to board your dog! We drive 30 mins to use them to watch our lab and terrier mix. The girl who checked them in was extremely nice and pleasant to deal with. Prices are reasonable as well. Don't hesitate to board your dogs here. You won't be disappointed

We've taken our rabbits here for boarding before so we called to set up kenneling for an upcoming trip. The woman on the phone said they're not set up to care for rabbits. That's fine if that's a new policy, but obviously we've taken our rabbits here before so they were previously set up for them. The website needs updated to no longer state they take small animals if that is not the case.

Was being late for the appointment cause of rd work was trying call a good 20 minutes and phone was ringing busy whole time then when we got there was to late and said we could ve tried call but we did try call. Girl was very rude and not polite, and usually they not like this.
Dogs and bedding dirty and stinking when we picked them up. Our 2 dogs had diarrhea for days after this experience. We had to give rice and chicken to clear it up. Also, some items that I had dropped off with the dogs are gone, never to be found.
Your pet will be well taken care of. Our dog always comes home happy and healthy. They do a wonderful job grooming as well. We had to take our dog to another kennel recently due to Whispering Winds being too full. We were horrified when we picked our dog up and he was distressed with an injury. We will never go to another kennel again. If we can't get our dog into Whispering Winds then our plans will have to change. They are wonderful and your pet will be treated like one of the family. A++++ all around.
Our dog has been going to daycare for 9 years and was always well cared. The staff are lovely and treat him good.
I leave both my dogs with Mary and they have a great time.. especially in the new play yard. My dogs love being able to go in and out at will and then going to the yard for a romp, its a great experience for them while I am away..
I took my two 160 pound St. Bernard here and I would definitely recommend them again. They stayed for two weeks. When I arrived my dogs were resting and happy. The groomer did one of the best grooming jobs they have ever had. There staff is personable and did not care I called often to check in. AAA service!
Awesome place to board your dog!!!! They took great care of my pugs. They even sent me pictures and always informed me with how they were doing while I was on vacation.

Excellent place! My German Shepherd has implants and they treated her like one of their own. I can't say enough about this place. Rest assured that your pet will be treated like royalty. I will bring my dog back when it's time to do so.
Balto loves being at daycare more than being at home! They treat the dogs so well and are reasonably priced. He comes home exhausted every day we take him! He passes out on the floor and I nearly forget we have a dog!! Rare for a husky to be that calm so it's safe to say the amount of exercise and fun he has is well worth $15 a day even if he comes home super dirty and smelling like pee
