WGS Solicitors – A Complete Disgrace to the Legal Profession

Avoid this firm like the plague. WGS Solicitors didn’t just mishandle my case—they actively sabotaged it. Over £20,000 paid, and in return? Lies, delays, zero progress, and absolute contempt for legal and ethical standards.

They withheld my legal documents « some of which they never returned »unless I paid invoices I had already disputed, which is a blatant violation of SRA rules. They didn’t apply for probate, didn’t file for will rectification, didn’t respond to litigation deadlines—they did NOTHING.

Their billing is a joke: vague invoices, duplicate charges, and shady requests for payment via text message. They even tried to trick me into signing an undated Notice of Acting in Person, which they could use to abandon my case at any time.

This firm doesn’t care about clients. They care about squeezing money out of you while doing as little as possible.

I’ve filed a formal complaint to the SRA for serious breaches of conduct, including abuse of power, dishonesty, professional negligence, and unethical billing practices. If you’re considering hiring them—don’t. Run.

This isn’t legal representation. It’s legal extortion.
