Weyand Fisheries Review

I m been to this local seafood store at least eight times in the months of October and November this year! AND I M SOOOO IMPRESSED WITH THE TAKE OUT DINNERS . The take out dinners include: either Walleye Pike, Lake Perch, Shrimp , Coconut Shrimp , they come with French Fries , Coleslaw, Shrimp Sauce and Tatar Sauce. You can add Alaskan Pollock , Clams, Extra Pieces of Fish . The Fish tastes like fresh caught! I m just so impressed with this place. The people here are so friendly and helpful! They even have a basket of Fresh Lemon s for purchase for you food. Oh, and the complete selection of Fresh Sea Food is unbelievable! See the pictures of the Sea Food Display. DELICIOUS ! They just added New England Style Clam Chowder to their menu and WOW IT IS DELICIOUS ! A must try, rich in flavor and sooooo many clams! Great Stuff

Mixed feelings here. Coleslaw, french fries, hush puppies and tartar sauce all delicious! Fish is in question. The flavor is there but the walleye is extremely thin, cod is on the small size, haven't tried the perch. Service is extremely polite, they are eager to please.

The funny thing is that I have seen Weyand Fisheries for years. I never stopped. In mid-December, my coworker and I were talking about holiday meals and started looking around for places to get crab legs and shrimp. Weyands kept coming up in our search so we decided to give it a try.

I bought jumbo crab legs, jumbo shrimp, escargot, and scallops my first visit. My eye was caught on the freezer case with frozen crab cakes, crab patties, and so much more.

Everything that I purchased was top quality, fresh and delicious. I broiled the legs in the oven, made Cajun bacon wrapped scallops, and the escargot. What a great dinner!

My next visit I went for the crab patties, cakes and the escargot (again). The deluxe crab cakes were excellent and I might need more this weekend.

I will never be in a local grocery store again looking at the puny, tiny little shrimp when Weyand's is just 15 minutes away.

Went to Weyand for scallops. Good selection and great size. Very good scallops. Nice fish too. Love this place. Good selection of all seafood.

Only place to find Scottish salmon. They have a great overall selection of fish. They got halibut, warm and cold water lobster tails. They also got nice scallops. I love this place, i will still come down here once i move to Oakland County, that should tell you something

Besides king crab legs being expensive, I love this place. The refrigerated cocktail sauce and Tartar sauce are delicious! The crab legs were so yummy!!! To save money, I will try the regular crab legs next time.

Great little seafood shop, has fresh fish as well as cooked plates.

Absolutely horrible service. I received a rude call from the manager 15mins away from a 40 min drive stating the order I put in two days advance was sold to another customer because they come in every week. I will never use these people and recommend other places to get fresh seafood. This ruin my entire plans with my family and the dinner I had plan. The manager did nothing to rectify the situation and was somehow shocked when I canceled my order all together.

Great fresh seafood. Wonderful selection and extremely fresh. Some is frozen but just an amazing selection. Everything from fish to lobster. Reminds me of the seafood markets still found up north on the lakes and those in Maine and other places on the east coast. A must see here in Wyandotte.
