I've been a patient here for 30 years and I've always been happy with them. The building has a blood lab, X-Ray and MRI and numerous other specialists so you can handle all of your medical needs under one roof.

My doctor semi-retired and I was in the market for a new PCP. Westford Internal Medicine was recommended by a neighbor. I ve had 2 visits in the last month, one of which was a full physical exam, so my records are 100% current. Today, I have a UTI and am stuck at work until late, so I called to have an antibiotic script called into my pharmacy. Mind you, I m a pharmacist myself and I m more than capable of diagnosing a UTI, particularly for myself. They refused; said I needed to come in and pee in a cup to properly diagnose it. Absurd! Bactrim DS and Pyridium are standard treatments. Luckily, my old PCP was available to call in the scripts so I didn t end up in the ER overnight. There s no valid medical rationale for their refusal; I can only guess that they wanted me to come in so they could bill my insurance for an office visit, rather than simply call in 2 much-needed scripts. I ll be moving on... I would suggest that you do so as well.

On the very rare occasions that I need help, I have not been able to receive it in a timely manner. Will be leaving this practice as soon as possible since I have not been satisfied. They do not return phone calls, or if do, they do not have enough same day appointments for ill people.

My personal physician for 20 years. Old school bedside manner (really listens and asks questions) yet has kept up with changes in technology and treatments. I highly recommend him and his team.

Kept getting worse. Attempted toato discuss a specific medical condition with my MD who needed me to explain & define bc she wasn't aware of its existence. Scary. Discussed another issue & was handed a sheet of paper with contact info of every type of specialist under the sun w/in their hospitals umbrella. Requested a refill of an OTC which is cheaper by Rx and MD refused refill stating on my own w/ OTC. Moved out of state & requested 2 yrs worth of med records to be sent to new MD they refuse until bill for records is paid by me. Epitome of do as little as possible & for as much $$ as possible. I understand US med industry is at its worst as a whole. Still this is a shameful med practice, possibly poor medical education for this particular internist. This isn't your only option in the area. Suggest trying another facility not associated with Emerson Hosp.

Excessive waiting times for blood work, constantly! Employees walking in without masks. Dozens of people waiting during Covid. A constant disappointment. Time to find a new facility! Been going here for years. Gave to many chances!

I have been going there for over two decades they have been very thorough with me. I was in an accident . I have had 5 surgeries . I have just taken on a new Dr there Sarah Taylor was the Best but when I met this new Dr she seemed the one for me. I have only had one Dr in there that I would not see again as for the staff 5 stars! Not saying I would not see Dr Taylor again she is very nice and professional. But I thought the Indian Dr was very rude to me but being in pain all the time it may have been me.

After a recent annual checkup, I was asked to get ...

After a recent annual checkup, I was asked to get a blood test at the local lab here. This was in December 2020.

Upon entering this facility shortly after 6AM (its a fasting test), I am presented with a relatively cramped, unventilated room, with 1-2 dozen people sitting around waiting. This is in the height of the COVID pandemic surge. No seat spacers, no system to text you in your car when they are ready - they are acting as if there is nothing going on. The McDonalds down the road is handling the situation an order of magnitude better.

This is a health facility! I now have to make a choice of waiting for routine tests and exposing myself to elevated risk of getting very ill or skipping my blood work. I chose to skip it all. The indifference and organizational apathy displayed here is very concerning. It makes one wonder what other corners they may be skipping in general.

I advice seeking a different organization for your health needs.
