Nice ambience after renovation costs, good parking spaces

Our top location for our trade fair! Even in times of Corona it was fun. Until next year!

Large, very clear terrain and plenty of space for exhibitors. While I was there, a motorcycle fair was running and the structure and layout was great!

We were at the Westfalenhalle weekend and watched Disney on Ice.
First of all, I would like to say that the on-site staff were all very nice and helpful.
The hall is clearly structured. We were sitting in block 5 in the second row. Legroom is not optimal when you're tall. The view, however, was great. The suspicion that it would be very cold at Disney on Ice has not been confirmed. It was consistently a pleasant room temperature. Unfortunately, the headlights were not set very well, so sometimes you could not really see what is happening on the ice.
We were still very satisfied.

Good organization, good infrastructure. As a fair exhibitor you will be treated friendly.

Very good for exhibitions of all kinds! (an air conditioning would be nice)

When I visit them for an event, an exhibition or a concert, I am always thrilled. You can actually find your way around very well. They are just huge. Easily accessible by public transport. There are plenty of parking spaces.

Fantastic organization of the motorcycle fair. Sufficient parking space. Well-kept sanitary facilities.

We were on December 28th, 2019 at the Kelly Family concert
Almost none of the parking lot clerks knew where this EVENT LOUNGE entrance was. Even the demolition for parking on the prepaid EVENT LOUNGE Special Ticket was completely unknown to them. We have never experienced so much ignorance ....! We were not alone, a lot of guests were running back and forth. Does it have to be like this?

Big! Several events can run at the same time. It still nice staff ... class.

Always nice to go, no matter what you visited there.

When I first visited this location a little over a year ago, I was satisfied.

My visit today was like a catastrophe: The parking guidance system including the park guide has completely failed. Nevertheless, I have to pay the totally overpriced 7 euros for my parking in the dirty parking garage.

Around the hall there was a total traffic chaos. This is clearly better if you are a professional event. I expect that from a hall operator.

At the inlet there were queues of more than a hundred meters. At some point, shortly before the concert began, more entrances suddenly opened. "My" security man forgot to control my bag. Kind words? Wrong!

When entering the Front of Stage area, my card was tagged with an Edding-X. I was told that in the hall I had to look for the employee in the entire area who distributes red bracelets. Question: Why do not I get it directly from the people with the "X"? Completely incomprehensible. After a long search, I had found the employee with the said bands in a large crowd and stood in line. Shortly thereafter: "There are no more red ribbons." No one told me what to do next. Wait, wait and wait again. The good standing room in the interior were getting scarcer. Finally, the red band was not necessary. We did not get one.

In the hall, employees with beer kegs kept jostling their way through the audience during the concert. Soft drinks did not bring the "flying messengers". Too bad.

This was unfortunately my last concert in the Dortmund Westfalenhalle.

Good atmosphere, unfortunately little legroom in the seats.

We enjoyed the concert very much. Thank you for a nice evening. Drink prices a bit expensive.

Concerts that take place on the same day as a football game are half missed if you don't stay in front of the halls.
You should check who is booking when and if necessary compare it with the schedule.
In addition, it would be great if park stewards had even a hint of what they were doing, so that you don't drive around the location for 3 hours.

Getting old. And the high parking fees plus admission scare off many. That's a pity.

Twice a year to the Dog Show. Great to reach by car! !

5 stars upfront! A grand restructuring is taking place. At the moment, there are many 3 stars.

Confusing halls and construction work make the visit more difficult. Rip off the parking at prices where you can almost arrive with a limousine

A star is definitely too much.
The fact that providers at the "Hunting and Dog" trade fair offer hunting trips to hunt and kill elephants and other endangered animal species - you have to seriously think about the irresponsibility of the organizers, and have done so for years.

As far as everything is ok, only the security guards should be more on the visitors

I visited CREATIVA, the hygiene and other corona measures were implemented very well. The idea of setting up food trucks in the courtyard of the exhibition halls also deserves praise.

Outdated exhibition halls, not a nice atmosphere. Parking lot far away and too expensive. I don't like going there!

Large event and exhibition center. Many interesting and well-known events during the year that are well worth a visit.

Great venue, enough parking and hopefully soon without a construction site.

The Westfalenhallen in Dortmund are located directly on the B1 and can be reached quickly and without problems via the A40 from all over the Ruhr area. The parking situation is good, the walk to the halls never takes more than 10 minutes. The acoustics and the view at concerts are great, the air conditioning of the halls is great.

Not really pretty. The underground car park is like a garbage dump.

Super halls, good entry for trucks, doorman always friendly. Everything around nearby. City center, stadium, hotel, just great.

We would have loved to visit Jagd + Hund Saturday. But because of a soccer game, several exhibition parking lots were closed. For the last 500m we stood in a traffic jam for 1h to hear how we should park in the city.
That's impossible.
In future we will do without trade fairs when BVB is playing

No comment on it just a pity that it went like this ...

After the renovation, a very handsome exhibition stand.
However, only 2 cash registers are prepared for cashless payment at the motorcycle fair. And then only EC, credit card does not work. This will please foreign visitors, they hardly know any cash and certainly not an EC card. Cell phone payment was therefore not possible. International looks different.

7 parking fee, stuffy air at the public viewing for the cup final, high prices for food and drink! Once and never again!
