Didnt receive a bill for 3 month then they cut the power for 226 dollars are u serious thats pretty sad in my books like its my fault i did receive a bill and they when i found out u start it was allgood and u still cut my hydro that pathetic

Called for info about a power outage, this was the basic message, "If you are calling regarding a power out, please hang up and call in 1 hour". Fair enough, called back a couple of hours later and same message. Found an alternate number to report an outage, got an automated answer saying no one was at that number leave message press 5 or wait on line, it the forwarded me to the same message I had already heard twice. WESTARIO CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS It would be nice too have the option of electrical suppliers, but that would probably put Westario out of business.
They charge you a service fee to pay your bill. Should be criminal. We pay the highest hydro rates in NA and they still squeeze you on the service fee, very unethical, but you don't have a choice. Going to complain to MPs and Ombudsman, but I'm sure it'll go nowhere
Westario does not take responsibility if something seems amiss. I rented an apartment, basement, yes...$180 a month for hydro in winter. Ouch, but understandable. Then I moved to the 2nd floor, exact same apartment, but with brand new sliding doors, the water heater 30 feet closer to the bathroom. The hydro was $350 a month! For a small dumpy two bedroom, with the fuses for one bedroom, the hall and the bathroom completely pulled to save hydro, curly bulbs throughout, minimal oven use. ...!!!! Same building, exact same apartment. Westario refused to check the box, the connections, etc...am still in debt from it. Very very counterproductive "services"...homewrecking level.
$300 service fee just to open your account. Transferred from Hydro Waterloo where things were organized and no hidden fees. Unfortunately only option to where we moved sadly.
-1 Expensive Account Setup Charge. -1 The process for waving the initial security deposit is very cumbersome. -1 The customer pays a hefty premium to use our online payment portal. +1 star because they manage to keep the lights on in terrible weather.
Zero stars . Scam is that they will not send you a bill and then collect late fees . I have paid hundreds in overcharges with my many accounts with this company . SHAME ON YOU
Terrible website. So hard to just go with paperless bills. Automatic withdrawal is so difficult to setup. Power has gone out so many times, even on days when the weather was fine. If there was any other option I would have changed long ago.
