Ladies in the administration office don t know what they are doing ... I went to a T-3 meeting and was told my application fee has been waved and they did not put it in the system now I just wasted a Tuesday and still have to pay a 25$ application fee ... really ?!
It's a wonderful school to go to I've learned alot and made a lot new friends there
I wish I could give this college 0 stars. I was enrolled in the LPN program at the Waco campus and I cannot stress enough how terrible it was. If someone would have warned me, I would have just went to another school. There is absolutely no professionalism between staff or with the students. Our class started with 22 and within 6 weeks we only had 8 students left. The program director, the instructors, and the dean of nursing are all liars and terrible leaders. If you want a nursing degree, DO NOT GO TO WGTC!!!! The program is so unorganized and sets students up for failure. There is so much I could write on this review but I will not waste my time. Just don t apply for the LPN program at west Georgia technical college. That s all.
Worst financial aid department I ve ever dealt with. Not just a one time thing. I ve been going here off and on for almost ten years. Email is the only form of communication that they actually respond to. When they do reply, often their response is quite rude, especially if you do not understand their explanation and email them back stating so. Terrible customer service.
Great Technical College, that gives so much class work, it's unreal!! If they can half some of the homework with in class work that may be of help...
I returned for the Spring semester after 5 years and I have to say I am not pleased this go around. Even though all my information was turned in before deadline, my funds were released late because no one in the FA office knew how to release them. After speaking with the director twice it was taken care of (2 weeks into class). I have had to basically coach everyone through how to handle my courses (which classes can be credited for others/ which classes I need to take) because I do not have an advisor. I was just contacted to be assigned an advisor via email but its a little too late since I am 66% complete with my degree. The staff must be over worked and under paid because they are rude and make you feel like you are a bother. I really feel bad for students that truly need advisement to succeed because you definitely don't get it here. I am actually withdrawing to transfer to another institution. I hope they can get the staff back on track, this use to be a really good school. :( ***This post is strictly about advisors / admissions / FA office, my class experience has been wonderful and fulfilling. ***)
