This is a warning for all future patients going to the orthopedic department.
I am writing this review as i wait with my mother in the waiting room to check her in before her surgery...
But of course she s not able to get her surgery because the office staff has made ANOTHER huge mistake and can t find her anywhere in the schedule. This has happened multiple times about mix up in appointment scheduling!
His office staff absolutely sucks! Michaela has made a bunch of errors and i don t know why she is still working there. She is completely incompetent
THIS IS THE WORST TREATMENT MY MOM HAS EVER HAD.

Dr. Nancy Morris is the best rheumatologist I have ever had. She is practical, accommodating, and isn't afraid to think outside of the box (she doesn't make every decision based on labs) and considers clinical presentation and symptoms. I drive 260 miles to see her when I go to her office. Good rheumatologists are hard to find. She is good.

As a retired RN, I have to say I am extremely upset with the quality of care offered by the Cardiology Dept. Hubby was admitted to WFH in Acute CHF with other complicating medical issues. Dr. Branco was his MD from Cardiology. He refused to come see my husband but sent the PA/CRNP to see him along with the Hospitalist he was admitted to. The real kicker was that Dr Branco was about 50 ft away at the Nurses' Station. Haven't been back to Branco since. I took my hubby to Houston where he received wonderful care from Dr. Goel in the Pearland office. He is affiliated with Memorial Hermann Hospital.

This place is falling apart in patient services. Took my mom in for a follow-up post surgical visit only to find out that the appointment was cancelled. No one called us. Since neither of my parents drive, this was a slap in the face and a total waste of our time. We also had to fight to get another appointment. She is not doing well and no one seems to care. We were also informed that her next appointment had been changed. What is going on? The health care workers in the office were also very rude. There seemed to be zero communication between departments. Guess I will be looking for a different place to go.

I have been an employee for almost 8 years and I can say at least in my department, Dermatology, we have amazing doctors. The one thing I can say and hate to hear is being affiliated with WFH. MCC is not. They are their own company and cooperation not affiliated with us. Any issues with WFH should be handled there! My only issue w MCC is their pay rate is below average otherwise a great place to work.

I had to take my father to the priority care clinic. Donesha at the front desk was wonderful. Her personality and professionalism is hard to find in most any work place. Rebecca Trevino, arnp-c treated my father. I was impressed by the way she treated us as a priority and not just another patient. Thank you both.

If I could leave a half star I would. This is a ra...

If I could leave a half star I would. This is a rating of the Medical Center Clinic and their affiliated West Florida Hospital having had several bad experiences throughout many departments. First was referred to Dr. Matthew Kern for my extensive neuro issues and I gave a succinct printed medical history to his nurse for him to read before meeting me. He came in, and made it clear he couldn't be bothered to read it and that there was no reason to follow me there as West Florida is a for-profit hospital and wouldn't accept my insurance if I ever came in for trauma, which was a big concern. Very dismissive and rude. Went to the Ortho Clinic at the Woodlands location. I went there a week early to allow the receptionist to make copies of insurance, license, medical history and x-rays. I watched her make a new patient file, which she couldn't locate the following week at my appt. That's when I realized she had not returned my drivers license with my insurance cards the previous week. During a second visit to one of the assistants Dr. Marshall was standing in the hall discussing a patient on the phone who had a complaint. He was very loud and almost petulant saying, "if she's going to complain I don't want to treat her". Many patients could hear him, there was no privacy concerns, very unprofessional. Next my mother went to the ER at West Florida for severe dizziness and nausea and was treated very dismissively, they didn't even do a CT scan on her. Just avoid this place if you can.

Treatment of patients and employees is at its lowe...

Treatment of patients and employees is at its lowest point. I have been both since the late 80s and its obvious money is the motivating factor of this business. They like to claim to want to be the top in patient care, but its obvious the bean counters only worry about the beans they count. Many physicians are overbooked, having patients scheduled every 5 minutes. Some physicians are very good, but there are others who are there just for the money and it is very obvious. A previous review spoke about a pain management doctor who really doesn't interact well with patients. Some are even treated like criminals even though their pain is legitimate and chronic. Pharmeceutical vendors spend hundreds daily on lunches for some departments (the profitable ones) while others are blatantly ignored.

The billing company is poorly trained for billing and patients receive bills for procedures never performed or double charged and then have to fight to get the charges corrected. Bills are rarely sent in a reasonable amount of time and sometimes patient accounts are sent to collections when the patient doesn't even realize they have a bill to pay.

Low end staff is underpaid, therefore do not always care about their job or their customers. Internal animosity is high and employee morale is low. Double standards abound. Practice managers are inconsistent with following the rules, allowing employees in theoney making departments to get away with almost anything, yet the departments that are not as profitable are treated poorly. Some upper managemt staff have no discretion with their personal relationships with employees and those are given a great deal of leeway no matter how insubordinate they are and even are allowed to do things not necessarily legal. This is noticed by not only other employees, but by patients as well. Upper management also ensure they get their top dollar in their check (plus bonuses) while those on the low end get no bonuses, low pay raises, and crappy benefits. But, they make sutr to spend money on the electricity for colored lights each night that only children really care about.

Parking is poor, but that is because employees of the businesses that rent space there park in patient parking instead of parking designated to them. Overbooking doctor appointments causes this.

To summarize, unless you are in upper management or a physician there is no benefit to being an employee or a patient at this facility. Its all about the money, not about patient care for those at the top. I'm very sad to see how much the quality of service has decreased over the years and I'm grateful I no longer need to visit this place.

Following the completion of a colonoscopy, I received a letter from the Medical Center Clinic (MCC)signed by the doctor reporting results for a procedure (EGD) that I did not have. The letter made no mention of the results reported verbally by the doctor to my wife and I immediately following the colonoscopy. When I called the MCC I had to leave a voice mail message and never received a follow up call. I went to the MCC and was not allowed to speak to the doctor or his nurse. The receptionist told me the nurse said there was a glitch in the system and she provided me with a written summary of the actual procedure performed. Apparently these types of "glitches" are not considered serious enough to warrant proactive steps by MCC staff to reach out to affected parties. I am very disappointed with the error and the way it was handled.

Friday the 22nd. of Dec. 2017. I was in for a procedure to have Injections to my spine. when I entered I said Hello to the Doctor and he barley noted me (talking to the people in the room), they put me face down on the table and had me place my face in the hole, during this time even when I first entered Dr. Mastaw did nothing but laugh and talk about which football games/players he liked, to the assistance's/Nurses in the room. He never explained what he was doing, I felt what had to be 2 needles being placed in my L5 and L6 Disc on right side of my back, but then I started to feel a Great deal of pain and started breathing in through my nose and out my nose and tried my best not to cry (the Dr. still said nothing to me and was still talking about the Holiday games) the pain became so unbearable that a nurse in the room noticed and held my hand of which I began to squeeze and said she new he was in the right spot because of the pain, it wasn't until I screamed that the Dr. said Oh I am putting the medicine in now and went back to talking to the other people in the room ! After the procedure he was gone!!, never ask how I was doing....but thinking back he barley looked at me when I had first met him earlier that week in the pain management office and never explained the procedure except that he would inject steroids in to reduce the swelling, I had ask him if it was like the injections I received in my knees and he had ignored what I said and just said I would do fine without being put under! The pain was the worst I had ever experienced!! It felt like setting fire down my right side starting from my back, hip and all the way down my leg to my big toe and at the same time taking ever nerve and muscle and pulling them out of my body!!! I waited to write this post until I had time to think about what had happened to me, but this Saturday Eve I felt I had to write this review, I have worked in Nursing for over 38 yrs. and have met nice, understanding, mean and self absorbed Dr.s in the past, but never this uncaring about a patient especially one he just met and does not know! The base Dr.s seem to have more compassion ! I use to work for Medical Center Clinic, but have to say they have really gone down hill with the caring that use to be important to their patients. Thank you for listening to me. I had also wanted to mention that while in recovery rm. the nurse (NOT DR. MASTAW) said that it could take 3 days to a week before feeling results. I was up until 1:30 am with pain, but noted when I awakened I was not in as much pain and in hopes it gets better in the next few days. I felt trying the injections might be better then a plate or fusing of my disc's that was suggested by the base Dr.'s. We will see.

This place is going downhill fast. Management doesn't care about the employees and infact have been heard laughing and joking when they let someone go. Doctors have been continuously leaving this facility for several years and their recruitment of new doctors proves to be ineffective. Practice managers berate the staff on a daily basis and tell the staff that they don't work for the doctors; that they work for clinic. Currently with the closing of the cancer center, this place is less than 50 percent occupied and as stated above, there is a very good reason for that. They are also extremely quick to send bills to collections before insurance even has a chance to pay. Use at your own risk...you've been warned!

Horrible Experience. The foolish "ophthalmologist" tried to tell me my eye problems were simply due to stress. This place is filthy and gross and smells horrible. The employees are all unkempt and nasty.

0/10 would not recommend.

Over the years I have seen by the Cardiology dept., podiatry, Dr. Aldred, Drs. Marshall and Lurate, Dr. Holdt, Dr. Roundtree and several others, and have been to the PT department. I have also had surgery at the ASC. I have never had bad service. Rather, each of these doctors and their staff had always been kind and courteous. Additionally my husband has seen many of the same doctors and has had multiple surgeries, all with good results. My only complaint, if you can call it such, is the lack of available parking

I appreciate the kindness of all the staff that I encounter here. I've never waited long to be seen and don't feel rushed once I see Dr. Webb. She has a friendly approach and answer whatever questions you ask and if it's not in her field of expertise she says that but try to still give you the knowledge she knows. I'm happy my primary chose Dr. Webb as my OBGYN. Thanks Dr. Webb for all you do. So, with that being said, I'd recommend her to my family and friends every time.

Twice I have paid my co-pay at the time of service only to be billed for it again. I feel this is predatory billing and fear for the elderly who may have many doctor bills and trouble keeping up with them. The first time this happened, I called and was told the payment was just posted to my account. This was weeks later after I received a bill and the service. It should have been the first thing posted to my account since it was paid before the service was rendered. Since this is the second time, I can only assume it's intentional. The Hospital is well known for it's poor billing practices and has been caught billing fraudulently in the past. I'm not sure if the Clinic uses the Hospital Billing Department. BEWARE!

Horrible health care. The Clinic seems more interested in cosmetic appearance than quality health care. Endless variety of plastic surgeons but staff could care less about patient care. Visit on a Friday and better get there before 4pm! After that hour staff evacuates and will mow you down trying to get out!
