My time in West Florida was a enjoyable time. The nurses were very helpful and very attentive to my needs. I would recommend this hospital to everyone that asks my appenion.

I am self pay so for me to go to the ER, I have to be very sick. I was that sick on 9/5 with shortness of breath, chest pain and fatigue. I was recovering from a ear and sinus infection. I was sick and hurting but basically given a Covid test, chest X-ray and released. I saw a PA and not a doctor. No inhaler, meds or explanation for my symptoms. They wouldn t even give me a note stating I was there for my employer. So here I am 2 days later, still suffering with no answers or money to go to another hospital. They can give a Covid test but anything else go somewhere else.

I would give 5 stars if not for the dietary folks. They are probably shorthanded like other areas of our pandemic ravaged society. They actually missed me twice. Thank God my boys always stop by a drive thru before visiting me. The nurses and staff on 6 south were awesome during my stay. They deserve a raise and a free Hawaiian vacation when this is over. They work hard and provide 5 star service and care. Thanks to everyone for seeing me through a tough challenge. I love Dr. Ouellette (Neurologist). Thank God for giving him the wisdom and knowledge to see past everything and find my diagnosis. I will be forever grateful .

Professional service throughout. Entire staff courteous and the entire pre-check-in and actual surgery day was flawless. West Florida Hospital is way better than Sacred Heart. Its easy to see why West Florida Hospital is so highly rated.

The nurses and radiologist were wonderful. The doctor was something left to be desired. She asked me to limit the reason I went to the ER in the first place. She gave me a limit of 3 when there was clearly more going on with me. She was polite when she said it but I thought the whole purpose of the ER is to help people immediately, especially when having a hard time breathing.

From checking in to checking out, the service was superb. Everyone was attentive and seemed very sincere about trying to serve my needs. I had a total knee replacement and they did everything they could to make sure the pain was held in moderation without sacrificing long term objectives. I would not even consider going anywhere else for hospital services.

I felt very cared for at this hospital. The nurses, techs, and Dr.'s were very attentive and caring. I know they are all under a ton of stress but these people literally saved my life.

Where do I start! Er staff was amazing! I m currently in a bed on the 6th floor and want to give a shout out to technician Clarissa.. she was always making sure I was taken care of!
Next.. I have NEVER had such an awesome nurse as Hannah! She is a gem and West Florida is blessed to have her. She not only exceeded in her job duties but truly cared for me from personal standpoint. We talked briefly at times on a personal level but not to personal. We just spoke about our dogs that we have at home and how she s excited that she is going down and working in the pediatric unit starting Saturday. She just was very professional, polite and above all a genuinely good person.

I was told that I needed to have urgent surgery. Because of Covid the Hospital shut down. I still went for my Pre Op just incase the hospitals opened again soon. Staff was so positive, helpful and reassuring.

Everything from the check in to the CT scan was all a very pleasant experience. The ladies at registration were all so kind and very helpful! Tony, our CT technologist, was awesome! He put mine and my husband s mind at ease. We were in and out in no time. Our physician, Dr. Patel, had the imaging quickly and gave us the results ASAP so we knew what we would be facing ahead. Thank you all for your kindness and compassion. It is greatly appreciated!!!
