The Wenatchee school district and their faculty taught me from k-10 then supported me in the running start program at Wenatchee Valley College. I believe my education was the best that a public school can offer and we had excellent teachers. This school district promotes sports, theater, music, and generally everything that kids want to do. The facilities are clean and the recreation areas are also well maintained.

I have 3 boys in the Wenatchee school district. My oldest has brain cancer and is a senior at Wenatchee High School. Just found out that when he walks for graduation he won't be getting his diploma..... and they waited until a week before graduation to tell us. Then at foothills my middle son was expelled when his para miss Bridgett singled him out and cornered him which he shouldn't have kicked her but she should have been more understanding to my kids have a lot of stress due to me having to stay with my oldest I Seattle for radiation and my other 2 were staying with my mom. But instead of helping and seeing the signs of distress, miss Bridgett decided to file for a restraining order instead which was dismissed in superior court which i had to come back to Wenatchee for and get someone else to take my oldest to his radiation. So then my son had to transfer to orchard. My son missed all the end of year activities which always seems to happen and is unfair. Then my youngest goes to Lincoln and since being back from Seattle we have moved because i couldn't afford to rent somewhere while i was in Seattle and we are staying with a friend and Bob Sanford in transportation told me they wouldn't provide transportation and he needed to transfer schools with only 3 weeks remaining. After i called everyone in the district i could think of to help us, they said my son can ride the bus..... His bus ride is 1 hour and 45 mins long. ....a bir ridiculous and a little vindictive? I have had so many other problems.... like miss rudell spinning my son in a office chair for over a minute for a "sensory" break.... more like abuse! And my son being restrained to the point he freaked out hitting his own head on the ground because miss Rudell was on his legs and the principal held his arms and his belly was to the ground, i would freak out too if i was him. My son was bullied at Lewis and Clark and the school knew there was issues but did nothing to help my son. If i had enough money I'd move away from this place. Life is hard enough without having these issues with my kids schools.
