Wellfleet is getting pretty far away from civilization on Cape Cod (all the Cape murder mysteries are situated in Wellfleet or Turo...) so it is doubly surprising to find this gem of a theater stuck out in the dunes just off of 6a. Tucked back behind a Dunkies and the Wellfleet post office you have to be looking for the WHAT to find it. The facility is awesome with a modern look, stadium seating, and a refreshment area on the first floor. The productions are high end non-professional or "B" list pros. It's a great place. Give it a try... to be or not to be. If that's the question the WHAT is definitely you answer.

I really love the Julie Harris Stage (with its comfortable raised seating, but minus that obnoxiously loud turnstile backstage),the rehearsal rooms and decent sized bathrooms. But it is no longer on the harbor, there's another company (Harbor Stage)still there which leads to confusion to some of the public.

My nephew, Sam Krivda, was in the show "Murder for Two". Show was great...hilarious (of course). The theater has plenty of parking and is a great size, not tiny but even the "worst" seats are great.

Every summer WHAT puts on a kids/family show. It's very reasonably priced and it's always a highlight of my family's vacation on the Cape. If you're on the Cape in the summer looking for a wonderful family activity for an evening, WHAT's family productions -- always an original show -- are a great option.

They are held in a smaller tent off the main building. The cast is generally a mix of a few younger performers with a larger number of older professional actors. The performances are under two hours with an intermission. Probably appropriate from ages 6 to 16 -- though this adult always enjoys them too.

Attended "An Act of God" play. Talented lady who was the star, great memorization of the many lines. Problem was that there was a one sided political undertone with criticism of President Trump, the Electoral College and basically American values. These liberals can't take it, they lost.
Run a fool and a crook and you should lose.
Last attendance at WHAT, good luck, morons.
