Weiss memorial hospital Review

Went in for sever abdominal pain and was left waiting for 3 hours. After seeing the lack of urgency, the way that the staff spoke to patients, and the horrible smelling waiting room, I decided to leave. I could have died in the waiting room and the staff probably would have chalked it up as a win. It wouldn t surprise me if they try to bill my insurance as well. Now it is 2:00am and I have to travel to another hospital to try and find treatment. Avoid this place at all cost.

The Gender Center is on point! I could not have asked for better care. I would Highly recommend Dr. Loren S. Schechter and his team to anyone going through Gender Confirmation Surgery.

Was here yesterday to get my 1st COVID vaccine dose. The employees there were all incredibly professional and kind. I saw one staff member assisting an elderly man in navigating through the form that had to be filled out. Overall, I was very impressed with everyone there.

The treatment here is utterly astounding. Avoid this place. The service here is slow, the doctors don't speak to you, they delay care and are incompetent. I'm surprised this place is still open.

To the owner. No one is calling you and your terrible service. Get new doctors. 232 reviews and 3 stars??? Shame on you and your service. Your doctors don't speak to patients they pass the buck and wait 48 hours to speak to someone.

I came to this place for IOP group therapy over zoom and was impressed with their team. They gave me a host of different coping mechanisms to help me move on from my mental health crisis. I only wished I could have stayed longer but alas my insurance would only cover a certain amount of time for it. Very grateful for Weiss s help in my time of need.

I was working late today and when on parking lot, I realized I don t have my car keys.
The cleaning crew were in my Radiology department and located the key immediately ( it was close to 6-6:30 pm). They just made my Friday! All of my coworkers are great. Many thanks again!

Went to ER with severe abdominal pain They quickly eased the pain and found the cause. Surgery to remove gallbladder went well. Dr Summer did a great job as did the entire Operating Staff. Everyone from surgical, to nurses, techs, custodial, extremely nice and friendly. I can not thank the entire staff enough for all the help and care I received!!

I was utterly appalled and disgusted by my treatment at Weiss Memorial this past week and weekend. I was admitted after having a seizure but was not told anything helpful after I became coherent again. Like another review said, the attending physicians kept passing the buck and left me to be a liaison amongst them. Really????

I told doctors, nurses, and dietitians I saw during my stay MULTIPLE TIMES that I have severe food allergies, the most potent being legumes (peanuts, soy, beans, etc). I cannot even be in the same room or I ll go into anaphylaxis shock. On my third day, what did they bring me for lunch? Beans. Beans!!!

I spent my entire stay terrified that I was going to die in there and passed time by trying to just sleep even though I wasn t tired. I still do not know what the doctors discussed as they never relayed it to me. It wasn t until I got a malpractice lawyer involved and my care team that knows the correct dosage of my medication that I was discharged. I had to fight them tooth and nail to get the smallest amount of information. And now I m home with a poor ability of understanding what happened.

And take a look at these gnarly IV spots. I was prodded 6 times but not because they couldn t find a vein. You tell me if these look like whomever placed them knew what they were doing.

I had a flare up of a chronic condition and waited for hours in the ER of another hospital...eventually decided to leave and come here. With pleasant surprise I was greeted in the waiting room right away, taken to a room and started treatment. The doctor (Dr. Shu) treated me with warm respect and explained the medications. The nurses (Tina and others) checked on me a few times and made sure all my questions were answered. Great service!
