One of the worse experiences I have had in the field. Pay is below standard. Mileage is based on a straight line from A to B. Not actual mileage for rate. Photo request in intersections are dangerous to take. Wants to treat you like a employee. But calls you a contractor. Beware of this one.

The rep called to take pics for State Farm after our car was totalled. Abby at WeGoLook said "oh, i totally forgot to call you back. I haven't even booked an agent in your area. Sorry" In the meantime, we have no money for the totalled car.

I am a stay at home mom and with We Go Look I am able to pick and choose looks and contribute to income in my household. I just wish there was a way to secure more looks other than that I love this company. Assignments are quick and easy and the pay is always right and paid quickly. #IAmALooker

Half of the reviews on this are false.

Half of the reviews on this are false.
Paid 1 week later. If they deemed you completed.
During assignment you submit the job form and are unable to view afterwards. Which means you can add expenses, milage report after the fact, when you need to.
Support is unavailable 90% of the time.
The app faults out providing different instructions.
When all of this fails, and you have driven to the location (50% of the time an hour away from your location), there is no compensation if the job isnt completed despite the reasons.

As a looker, as they refer to as, the company WEGOLOOK cares nothing about your end of things while literally paying you pennies to go out of your way to take photos of the unknown.

Tara from we go look in Philadelphia. Scheduled at 8 am. Arrived at 9:30am. No one was available. Called me and left me a voice mail and left. She tried to comeback at 12 noon. We had a hard time coordinating again because no one is available. Her attitude became unprofessional unfriendly on the phone and she hang up the phone on me before I finish what I wanted to say. I called her back and let her know she and her company are not welcome to come anymore. I called the person who hired this poor service company and let him know as well. People like this do not deserve to do business with me.

Jobs dont show up in the app in real time, as stated. The notification system for jobs is rigged internally, so certain lookers get notified of jobs right away and others get notified after they're already assigned, wasting our time going through a competitive convoluted manual accept/decline process.

If you actually get a look they pay a whopping $20 flat fee, but these 1099 assignments end up paying about 30% minimum wage when your mileage, gas, wear and tear, insurance, equipment cost, time, and taxes are accounted for.

They also deduct an extra $1.50 (per assignment, not per pay period) for electronic payment (reducing the pay before expenses to $18.50) and despite the extra deduction, payment still takes an average of 3 weeks to get deposited, or you can opt for payment by check, which takes longer.

The profit margin for those of us doing the work is insulting when compared to what they're charging the client.

I've been a Pro looker for 2yrs. I've never had a bad experience. Once you get a routine down the inspections that are not very detailed not requiring any extra work can take 15 to 20 minutes. My only issue is the pay they try to offer you. The price is too low for jobs that are greater that 10 miles from your home. I've never had an issue with my payments. I think that after someone had been working with them for a while, they should have a higher negotiated rate i
tyor some type of bonus

I say that because the accident scene inspections can be dangerous, the inspection that requires climbing, crawling etc

This is an awesome place to work! We are growing quickly and there is a ton of opportunity to advance. WGL cares about the employees and we have perks such as free fruit daily and a coffee, espresso, latte machine with flavors. We also have a very nice market inside our break area. We also have events, contests and give back to the community.

About Wegolook

Wegolook: The Ultimate Solution for Gathering and Validating Information

In today's fast-paced world, businesses and individuals need to gather information quickly and efficiently. However, it can be challenging to find reliable sources of information that are both accurate and up-to-date. This is where Wegolook comes in - a company that combines technology with an on-demand workforce to help businesses and individuals gather and validate information anytime, anywhere.

Founded in 2009, Wegolook has become a leading provider of on-demand field services. The company's innovative platform allows customers to request a "look" - an onsite inspection or verification of any item or property - from one of its over 45,000 independent contractors located across the United States, Canada, Australia, and the United Kingdom.

Wegolook's services are used by a wide range of industries including insurance companies, financial institutions, automotive dealerships, real estate firms as well as individual consumers. For example:

- Insurance companies use Wegolook to verify claims made by policyholders.
- Financial institutions use Wegolook for asset verification purposes.
- Automotive dealerships use Wegolook for vehicle inspections before purchasing them at auctions.
- Real estate firms use Wegolook for property inspections before buying or selling them.
- Individual consumers use Wegolook for remote car inspections before purchasing vehicles online.

The process is simple: customers submit their requests through the company's website or mobile app along with specific instructions on what they need verified. A local Looker is then dispatched to the location within hours (or even minutes) depending on urgency. Once onsite they perform the requested task(s), take photos/videos if necessary using their smartphone camera(s), fill out custom forms provided by customers (if required), then submit all findings back through the platform which can be accessed by customers in real-time.

One unique feature that sets WeGoLook apart from other similar companies is its ability to customize reports based on customer needs. Customers can choose from pre-built templates or create their own custom templates with specific questions tailored towards their business needs.

Another advantage of using WeGoLook is its cost-effectiveness compared to traditional methods such as hiring full-time employees or sending staff members out into the field themselves which can be time-consuming and expensive.

WeGoLook also offers additional services such as document retrieval (e.g., retrieving titles/deeds) , notary public services (e.g., signing legal documents), courier services (e.g., delivering packages) among others making it a one-stop-shop solution for all your field service needs.

In conclusion,Wegolook has revolutionized how businesses gather information remotely while saving time & money without compromising quality.Their innovative approach has earned them numerous accolades including being named one of Inc Magazine’s fastest-growing private companies in America three years running. If you're looking for reliable field service solutions look no further than WeGoLook!
