I stayed in one of the residential homes for a year. I was discharged with none of my records or paperwork. I called them continuously trying to get one of my records so I could have a procedure done, I was never called back. Many staff members are rude and demanding. Many staff members were transphobic and homophobic. Several staff members had ignored doctors orders for their convenience. This place was horrible. They do have an incredible program called ETP for both residents and community members. I loved the ETP program

As a teenager I was placed in this program and if so I would really love to find some of my friends that I made there we were really close and looked out for each other and I have searched for their names on Facebook and haven't been able to find them this place back then when I was 14 it was a really good program they tried to help build confidence in us some of the people wasn't there for the children someone there for a paycheck but the home I was in it was more like independent living we got to fix our own meals we went to school off campus or on campus we had privileges we had to beyond a certain level to be able to leave on our own and go places like the shopping mall it has its effects is just on how you use them in what you're striving for

My family has been helped by the kind counselors at Wedgwood. One counselor helped my brother deal with his anger, which made things better at home. My counselor is fun, and energetic. She encourages me to see things in a different way so that I can appreciate my brother despite his outbursts and realize that even though things aren't perfect, there is a lot of good. She knows I like to run so she always ends with a race in the hall. I always beat her. I like the ladies at the front desk too. They are always helpful and kind. I'm glad my mom brought us to Wedgwood. We're much better now.

I lived here from mid-2010 - early 2011 at the Zondervan home via Michigan DHS. This may sound like either a lifetime ago or a couple years ago although to me, now in my mid-20s this was not that long ago, especially not counting all that has happened in my life since then. The staff I knew at the time were excellent, Christian, dedicated to helping and befriending troubled youth and introducing them to Jesus Christ, and able to deflect the stress caused by their jobs. Some of them had worked for Wedgwood since the mid-90s. Unfortunately I cannot attest to their quality as of 2018, 8 years later -- some staff left while I was there, some have left their positions, the kids have aged out; I've even heard of one of my co-residents who passed away sadly. However, I feel like enough time has passed that I can evaluate what I experienced. Do your research, but I experienced excellent care at Wedgwood Christian Services. I would work here, even.

Thank God for Wedgewood.! The highly skilled and friendly counselors here saved my family! They patiently, professionally and compassionately walked my adopted child through the trauma of adoption and other issues and stood by us encouraging us along the way. They also helped our other kids deal with the negative impact of living with a person who has experienced trauma. We are all stronger because of it and we would have given up if it weren't for our awesome counselors. Appointments were always on time. Office staff was always courteous and helpful. I've been all over the city looking for quality care and educated counselors. I'm so glad we found Wedgwood.

I went for substance abuse when I was 17 in 2016! Wedgwood was a great place for rehabilitation. I wholeheartedly recommend this place for youth. I am coming up on 4 years clean from any substance use at all in august of 2021!

Im 14 years old and have been going to consoling for 3 years now. I really don't understand where all of these complaints are coming from. They have a strict no smoking indoors rule and a lot more to make it feel safe. My consoler is very kind and I depend on her a lot. The trick is just finding someone you like and can open up to, not hating on a whole company if you had one bad experience then stop coming .

Wedgwood is a beautiful, christian, faith based facility. Working miracles from the inside. After spending over a year in there care I am a recovered alcoholic and drug abuser. It's been over 2 years since I've been in a physical altercation. I have been able to build a positive relationship with myself, with my family, new found friends and with god. I am a hard worker, an active member in my church and NOW I'm a mentor to others:) wedgwood took me off the streets and into the hands of God.

I was here for 4 years at the zondervan home,
it was very beneficial and it wasn't like everybody said staff wasn't just there for the money they was there to help to. Shout out to Steve jordan
