I recently worked at Webco Manor, and the im glad i can finally say something about what goes on at this facility. Theyre standards are below what i would call, basic human decency. Through all the dealings with them, i have only heard 1 word...."MONEY". Never any ideas or goals about making the residents lives there more comfortable or accommodating. They cut any corner they can to save a dollar even when its at the residents expense. All things considered, i would never let a loved one of mine be placed in a care facility like this one.

I am in the healing arts field, and I am extremely disappointed with the physical care given to my father in law during his brief stays due to having to be transported to hospital, only to be returned to that facility.
Doctor s orders were often ignored such as feet to be elevated. What would we find when we came to visit?
He would have been sitting in a wheelchair with his already fluid filled legs in a dependent position. We as a family had to fight to get a recliner moved from an empty room for his use, and then it was usually not even near him!
Skin integrity was another huge issue. The last trip he was sent via ambulance to the ER, because it was reported to me by an employee that my father in law requested it. He knew things were going bad.
In the ER there was a challenge in taking his body temperature so for accuracy a rectal temperature was taken. The shocking horror when the nurse went to perform the procedure caused much anger and sadness. He had OLD feces crusted on his bottom. When the staff through gentle process got him cleaned up he had major skin breakdown!! There were other skin issues, and the doctors placed an order for a wound nurse evaluation. Though the hospital diligently cared for his skin problems he did not live long enough for a complete work up.
I just wish to say: IF YOU ARE TAKING CHARGE OF CARING OF OUR ELDERLY WHO ARE COMPLETELY VOLUNERABLE THEN DO IT AS A CALLING NOT A JOB.
HAVE TRUE COMPASSION, MONITOR HOW EMPLOYEES ARE TAKING CARE OF THESE PRECIOUS SOULS. THAT MEANS DON T SIT IN YOUR OFFICE OR AT YOUR DESK WOTHOUT MAKING CHECK ROUNDS.
IF YOU NEED TO HIRE MORE/BETTER HELP THEN LOOK LESS AT PROFIT, AND MORE AT ETHICAL CARE!!
WE RE NOT ASKING FOR CLUB MED WE ARE ASKING FOR PROPER, MUCH DESERVED OVERALL CARE.
WHAT IF IT WAS YOUR PARENT????? YOU WOULD CARE THEN! I WOULD HOPE!
God bless the care staff that did try, but they are too few carrying the load for those there to just collect a paycheck.
