Attended the course 'Social Media for Drs' frm Web Marketing Academy over a period of 4 weeks. Suresh n Pooja took the modules. I can say that the modules were specifically designed for drs with appropriate use cases, examples for easy understanding of concepts. I never realised that social media can be utilised in such a way and few informed drs are already using it efficiently to create awareness among people through their social media presence. I recently did a crash course on Digital Marketing Management from WMA under the guidance of Mr. Suresh, who can be called the Digital Market Guru.
To be frank when i entered the building, i was little hesitant as to whether i have made the right choice, the right institution since there was no board outside the building and also when i entered the office, it was just an open office with 2 tables. Writing this review almost 6 months to a year after having done the course. Why did I wait so long? Well, for one, I wanted to practically apply what I learnt from the course to see if I actually knew/understood what they taught and how much they covered for the field. Also, I couldn t believe that they said we could always come back with questions or doubts. Even more unbelievable was when I heard that you can come back after a few years to re/learn all the changes in the field and that they would only charge the difference from the time you were a student with them.
I can tell you with confidence that they taught almost everything you need to know to have an overarching view of the field. You may not like certain parts or may choose to eventually specialise in one part of digital marketing, but knowing how the entire field functions does help you tie into how you would do the seo or ads or choose adwords or even how you would build your website to a certain extent.
Since graduating, I have had doubts/questions and they were more than willing to help out both online/offline - they are always open and welcoming to alumni dropping back to the academy as well.
As for the last part, there was a student who had come back after almost a decade (if I remember right) and who I later learned payed the difference in fee between then and today.
All in all, Wma is an amazing place with excellent teachers (it feels strange to say this next part), is value for money, and for anyone who is thinking of going into digital marketing, I would definitely advice them to go to Wma!

By the end of my classes, I replied for one such mail and I got the job, out of 78 applicants I was selected, Thank you WMA family for the knowledge shared, for making me a complete digital marketer.
