Purchased a beautiful Cartier from auction. Fantastic service. Highly recommended
This is how it should be, bought a Omega Military Seamaster and it surpassed description
An absolutely appalling experience! Dishonest, unprofessional and awkward experience. Don't waste your time with these people!
They couldn t have been better to deal with. What they don t know about watches isn t worth knowing. I recommend them.
Great seller, kind and correct communication. Much recommended!
As a longtime watch enthusiast, I scored two very worthwhile vintage watches through online bidding at this great auction house. The watches were accurately described along with detailed photos, warts and all. Communications with the staff were prompt, professional and spot on. The auction prices were reasonable. This company cares about its clients, and the website is easy to navigate. The payment process and shipping were easy, secure and quick. The array of watches in their catalogs is always quite interesting and worth reviewing. I d highly recommend Watches of Knightsbridge to my friends.
The best vintage watch auction house in London, thanks a lot.
Great experience; clear, accurate and friendly advice, underpinned by efficient customer service. We have thoroughly enjoyed the superbly managed auctions and look forward to future ones with pleasure. Great family run business.
Great advice and service - I highly recommend Alex and the team after purchasing three vintage watches across different auctions.
The guys at WOK are always a pleasure to deal with, and in particular dealing with Alex. The professional, yet warm and friendly attitude to work is always a pleasure to behold. I don't know of another auction house that puts together such an interesting, concise and varied catalogue of vintage & modern pieces. Looking forward to their future developments.
I am from the United States and I am proud owner of a vintage Longines piece that was won from the auction. The winning lot was as described on the catalog. I highly recommend Watches of Knightsbridge for international buyers. The shipping is fast post payment, and Alex and team will work with you to get it through customs. Bid with confidence and best of luck with your auctions!
Tried online bidding, repeatedly had my card declined due to website error, was unable to bid on watch, emailed support got response with no follow up.
Bought a Breitling Navitimer 806. Very well presented in Ad on Chrono24 great quality images you could really zoom into. The watch is in A1 condition for it's 51 years all for a very sensible price. very well packed for postage. Great communication and interest in me from Alex. Greatly Recommended.
Excellent auction house. They go out of their way to be helpful, professional and courteous. If you have a watch to sell, highly recommended. If you are looking to buy, they manage to regularly attract some lovely pieces. A great experience either buying or selling.
This is the second watch purchased from Watches of Knightsbridge, and I decided to collect this one in person from their premises. I would not hesitate in dealing with them again. A very pleasurable experience and a fine addition to my collection.
I had a terrific experience recently buying at auctions with Watches of Knightsbridge. The lot was precisely as described, and the condition even better than I expected. I found their customer service both before and after the sale to be friendly, efficient and very knowledgeable. I will definitely do business with WOK in the future.
Very serious watches dealers, everything worked perfectly, answer questions very quickly and I got to demand even more photos of the Uhe sent. We recommend.
Great auction house with helpful staff. Much more accessible than the so called 'big auction houses'.
Great buying experience, the quality of the watch and the service are fantastic, would love to recommend to those who have interest to purchase watches from them.
An excellent source for vintage watches, some rare models are very reasonably priced. No problem with viewing watches so you can have a chance to check it's exactly what you are looking for and staff are helpful.
I've been searching for a particular watch for some time and was thrilled to have found it through Watches of Knightsbridge. They had a great catalogue, effective on-line tools and good communication. Friendly and professional people, they're great to deal with. Thanks to Alex and Toby.
Like another reviewer has mentioned, the auctioneer will frequently sell a lot by hitting the gavel, only to then accept further bids from the internet. As far as I'm concerned this is the worst possible behaviour from an auctioneer and cannot be tolerated. I will not be bidding on any future auction unless this practice ceases. When I mentioned this to Watches of Knightsbridge (in person) they made some feeble excuses about slow internet connections. Pathetic! I've been to lots of auctions and the gavel going down always means that the lot is sold - unless you're dealing with Watches of Knightsbridge. Disgraceful dbehaviour.
Appalling online catalogue, dreadful to load and read, very poor search engine. I gave up in the end even though I was very interested in several watches
I had a very good experience from when I first made contact with a watch to sell, through to the auction and payment. It was very helpful and professional - I was very happy with the sale price and commission. Unfortunately I have no more watches to sell......
Just Awful experience , i called on the Thursday before the auction and asked for a telephone call prior to the lot i was looking at going through , Yes this all happened and i successfully purchased the watch i wanted ( check there fee More
Mixed experience - the people there are absolutely fine and helpful but the auctioneer has a very bad habit of accepting more bids on lots AFTER he's knocked the lot down with his hammer. He often does this and it's completely unacceptable. Buyer's commission is also high at 24%, but it's the same rate whether you bid in person or online
Fantastic buying experience. Bought a vintage watch online from the USA. The service,, watch packaging, and communication throughout was top notch. Highly recommended, and will be paying them a visit in person next time I'm in London!
Alex and the team run a good operation here. I have purchased one watch at the auction and one through direct sale. Both purchases went very smoothly.
Purchased a vintage Breitling and the description of the watch was precise. The customer service was excellent and very professional, a very smooth transaction.
Brilliant auction house, have dealt with the guys there several times, good service to trade and public alike, good eye for vintage pieces and they realise fair money both for buying and selling.
Bid for and won a Rolex watch for my wife (as a present for putting up with me for 50+ years!). I had been looking at various auction sites for 2 years, noting watch descriptions, original packaging etc. Eventually I found what I had been looking for, it sounded perfect, and I bid on it in their timed auction. I was pleasantly surprised to see I had won the auction and at the reserve price. Payment was completed on a Tuesday afternoon, the watch dispatched Wednesday via UPS and delivered to my door in Spain the following afternoon. Now came the big moment as my wife opened the box knowing not what was inside. Pleased? Happy? All of these and a few tears and eventually I got to see the beauty of the watch - and beauty it is, original box and outer (unmarked), papers and the watch itself looked as new. So please count me as a very, very satisfied and happy customer - as for my wife, she'll come down from her cloud one day!
I had a very good experience with watches of Knightsbridge ! I bought a Cartier Baignoire 18k...Everything went perfect. I had contacts with Alex who answered straight away to all my messages. After they received the money, the watch was shipped (to Paris) and I received it the day after. Faster shipping I have ever experimented so far. The watch was as I expected, in very good condition.
Thank you for everything !
Alice
Great selection of vintage and modern pieces. My watch arrived in perfect condition as described. Very easy process from start to finish enabling me to buy a very special watch at a reasonable price. Told several friends about your fantastic service.
Excellent specialist watch auction house focused on rare, collectible and high-end timepieces. A great experience to attend in person to view the lots and to bid and collect in person. Very friendly and helpful staff - Alex in particular has always been a pleasure to deal with.
I have dealt with WOK recently and very pleased with their services and products. Their auction specialists are very helpful and attentive particularly the individual named Alex Stevens who i have great pleasure to work with. I ask many questions and seek lots of information and Alex was helpful in providing them for my review prior to the auction. Overall positive experience so far and look forward to deal with WOK again in near future.
I have been collecting watches for more years than I care to remember. Whilst browsing the internet for potential sources for my ever expanding collection I came across "Watches of Knightsbridge". It was fortunate that there was an imminent auction.
The catalog was both extensive, to the point and brimming with a vast amount of lots. Many more quality pieces than I expected from an auction that I was previously unaware of.
Having spent a couple of hours observing the process on line I put in my first bids. Sadly missed out on a couple of lots. The auctioneer allows plenty of time for each lot so there is no pressure or concern in missIng out. I eventually won a most pleasing 1977 Rolex for what I consider to be excellent value.
After exchanging a couple of emails the watch arrived promptly as arranged. The watch was very well packed in it's secure signed for envelope.
In summary, my first buying experience with "Watches of Knightsbridge" was pleasurable, smooth running and to the point. Obviously there is a considerable level of concern when dealing with precious objects of high financial value. I was made to feel comfortable "Watches of Knightsbridge" fulfilled all my expectations.
A pleasurable experience culminating in a delightful addition to my collection.
I would happily recommend "Watches of Knightsbridge" and look forward to the next auction.
Mark. Field-Carter.
A very positive experience, it was really a pleasure buying from you. Communication was at its best, expedition super fast, hope to be your client again in the future. Thanks again Alex!
Excellent delivery service, great contact and most importantly the 2 watches that I bought more than correspond to my expectations.
