Great place for a drink and great food. It's so great that Greencastle has a place liked this. People from all over should check this out.

I like Robin (he was my bartender and he's introverted so don't scare him.) and the guy who advised me to try the Saudade.

Cool atmosphere, fantastic food, good service. The craft beer and wine/cocktail menu is also really good. Definitely recommend!

We had an excellent meal. Brews were tasty. Worth a visit if you are in Greencastle.

Had the fish and chips for lunch. The fish was delicious and the place has a nice atmosphere.

Great atmosphere both inside and out. Great food and normal sized portions of it. Beer was great as well! We also fed our 19 month olds and he was satisfied too!

I've tried hundreds of breweries across 20+ states and I have never had more delicious and perfectly made food in my life. I ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich and my gf ordered the special country steak dinner and just wow. That's really all I can say is wow. We will absolutely be back as soon as possible for the food alone.

In regards to the beer, I'd say they are on the right track with their recipes and have a nice variety. The only thing I'd like to see is less bitterness, more hoppiness in their IPA's. Many of the IPA's flavors were overpowered by how bitter they were.

Overall a wonderful experience and so awesome seeing Greencastle have a place like this!

I would comment on the food but I didn t get a chance to eat there because I ride a motorcycle and they don t serve our kind at Wasser.

Great tasting oat sodas and barley pops! Very friendly staff and wonderful service!

Sounds like you all were having an off day today. Understaffed and struggling, and it showed. Big beer people, so we were excited to try it; very disappointed. Took forever to get drinks and appetizers, it is was cold. So, we decided to leave without dinner.

Very disappointing. Took way to long to get our food and then after asking where our food was they finally told us the kitchen was down a fryer. When we finally got our food about 45 minutes after ordering the fries were burnt and the rest was barely warm.

Not the greatest experience at the bar. Ordered a vodka water with pineapple and didn't have pineapple, their response was well we are just not that kind of bar. Next ordered dirty martini, no olives. Bartenders respi se is "we just really are about beer and wine". Strange you have hard alcohol but you have nmo mixers. Food ok.

Great room and friendly staff. Beers were very good and food was tasty. Worth the road trip, see you again soon.

Live their hamburgers but not a fan of the spring mix salad that comes with.

Great beer selection. My wife and found a couple that we really enjoyed. There was a nice family eating area and we were surprise to find a band playing for a Saturday night. The only downside was not knowing when they opened nearly two years ago and missing out all this time.

Best option in Greencastle for almost (if not) exclusively local beers. Price point for some menu items can be a little high, but I enjoy the restaurant when I go in.

I would love for this place to start a small batch of a sour beer! The IPAs are excellent. Every time we go, the service is fantastic. Fiona took great care of us last Saturday. Good atmosphere and the I love getting field greens with my sandwich and fries. 5 stars!

Really enjoyed the atmosphere and layout. Food was very fresh; very good. We had a flight of all their beer offerings. Ended up ordering a pint of Super 8, which is a really well balanced IPA. The owner was there, and we had a chance to talk with him, which was nice. Both he and the staff we very accommodating. Definitely recommend and I will definitely be going back!!

Would not recommend the breaded tenderloin, tried to split this with my ten year old we both couldn't take more than a bite because the breading was awful. My son said it tasted like breaded catfish with a weird salad.

Wasser is one of the newer restaurants here in Greencastle. They provide a good variety on the menu and offer beer that is brewed onsite. Also, they offer samples of beer too. If you enjoy a stout beer, they have a excellent porter. As well as one of the better burgers you will put in your mouth.

Nice small time brewery/restaurant. Very limited menu but plenty of craft beers to make up for it.

Good place for some food, drink & conversation. The food here was surprisingly good. Menu has something for everyone. Waiter was super helpful & friendly.

I wanted to like the beer so much but it fell short for me. The staff was great and the food was pretty good. It's a cool place but again the beer just wasn't my taste.

Wasser, not sure why I can't reply to you directly. But to answer your question, I'm a fan of all beer styles, from what I can remember things were a bit malty or sweet for me. I'll be back for sure, its a cool place.

Great visit to Wasser Brewing Company after hiking nearby DePauw Nature Park. Great selection of beers. Food was excellent. Nice outdoor seating. Will definitely be back.

The food was amazing! The mahi mahi tacos are absolutely delicious and the burger is just as good!!!

I had a great experience my first visit earlier this year but my visit this past weekend was pretty bad. My burger was really good, just as it was my first visit. But the other 5 meals at my table were not as good. The consensus around the table was that the breading (which appeared to be Italian breadcrumbs) on the pork tenderloin was not good. There were 4 ordered at the table and nobody could stomach it. I was told the pork sandwich was good, it was just unexpectedly served cold.
I also wasn't expecting live music on a Sunday. It made it very difficult to talk with others at our table. If it wasn't so hot out, we would have sat outside. Then finally there was a fiasco with the checks. It was very confusing, but I believe the checks were entered incorrectly, all had to be voided and then ran a second time. When we got the checks back there were incorrect receipts with cards. It was just very confusing and the error wasn't explained well.

I really want to like this place since my first experience was so good, which is why I'm giving a 3 star rating.
But I'm not sure I will be back.

Food is great, service is great, beer is a work in progress. All in all, I love going there.

EXPENSIVE PRICES FOR MEDIOCRE FOOD. SERVICE WAS POOR. MINIMAL LIQUOR, & MENU OPTIONS. TV WAS LOUD!! PORTIONS OF BEER RIDICULOUS COMPARED TO THE PRICE.

The Belgian Stout was wonderful, the service (Megan) was attentive and the burger was delicious. I was disappointed with how limited the menu is, but if I'm ever back in Greencastle, I'll be back.

Some nice beer and food selection but service is kind of slow. Great building design and the outdoor patio is a nice addition.

A little pricey for a small town but the food was awesome and there was a lot of it. They have a stout that deffiently has a great smoky taste.

Really neat place. They have a stage and nice size eating area. The fish and chips were good but we really liked the unique, sweet, homemade tartar sauce!! Wow! I could eat that alone! The grilled cheese was good soaked up in the tomato soup.

Unfortunately there were several flies flying around us in the eating area.

Being a teacher, I love that they give 2% to a teacher program! I wish this was posted more places other than the website though. We only knew because we checked out the website.

The food is so good!! I had the fish tacos and my daughter had the chicken sandwich. Neither were average and both had good portion sizes.

Food is good, staff is good, not a wide variety of beer and often sold out of certain beers.

Was driving by this place today and saw the neon 'Open' sign was lit up. Parked and walked up only to see a piece of paper posted saying it was closed. If you're going to be closed on a Friday, please have the courtesy to turn off your sign.

The food is great and the beer is good. I got a beer flight and it took 15min for out server to deliver it. Once I got it I had a black piece of plastic floating in one glass and a piece of lettuce in another. The place was not busy at all and we had to keep flagging our server down for drink refills. She was very unresponsive all around.

Chris and Angie are awesome. We took 3 couples from Hendricks Co. and they can't wait to come back to Greencastle!

It's a wonderful place...im older. So it seemed a little loud. But their stout brownie is to die for!

Sure this place has a limited menu, but everything on it is great. Get the steak sandwich with au ju, you wont be disappointed. The atmosphere is killer here and can keep up with the likes of places in downtown Indy or Carmel, IN. Wish they had more cider beer options, but definitely worth the drive.

Stopped in for supper and they were out of veggies...really???? So we left. Not many choices for a vegetarian.

The food is imaginative and delicious. Good service. Good atmosphere.

Service was phenomenal. Had several beer tastings for free and everyone found one that they likes. For those who did not drink beer, the bloody marys were excellent just a little small. The food all had good proportions and tasted good. We had the fish and chips (huge portions), fish tacos (good but only comes with corn tortillas, would have been nice to get choice of flour also), and the chefs omelet which was excellent with chorizo (but missing the tomatillo sauce and cheese). A little expensive but I would go back.
