God, this school was the most amazing experience of my life

I am proud to have gone to this school, because it is a really wonderful place. I would never choose to go anywhere else.

My child attended K-5 (they start even younger now) and speaks tourist-passable Mandarin Chinese. i don't, so that's something. An administratively functional school in DC is rare, much less one that trains in 2 languages, much less an under-represented language. A good bet for a family willing to commit to supporting their kid on an unusual journey. Not a good bet for lazy or selfish parenting--it's hard work. Also not a good bet if you plan on leaving before fruition.
